Works as advertised if you have the right hub.
Works perfectly as expected. Maintains battery life really well. I used this with a Hubitat Hub. It pairs well, stays connected and reports informtation reliably.

Works with Home Assistant
I wanted to add a single sprinkler to my irrigation for when I seed a small area. I didn’t want to have to run an entire zone if it wasn’t needed. I use Home Assitant and OpenSprinkler so I got creative in automating this..First I added this valve to home assistant using the Zigbee integration. It was recognized immediately! Then I set an unused zone in open sprinkler to be an “http” zone pointing to localhost:80. I then added that zone to my schedule as I would any other zone.I then built an automation in home assistant that is triggered whenever the open sprinkler zone status changes. When home assistant sees that zone as running, it turns on this valve. Then when the zone stops, it shuts it off. This is working flawlessly and allows me to manually control this valve through home assistant, and for it to show up in OpenSprinkler for scheduling within all my other irrigation programs. Obviously I didn’t want this valve running when another irrigation zone was going or there wouldn’t be decent pressure for both.

Works with HA / Rechargeable batteries did not have enough juice
Eventually automatically paired with Zigbee / Home Assistant. Switch was not working, it turned out to be be the batteries (showed as 60% charged in HA). Swapped out rechargeable batteries with regular ones and it turns off and on just fine with one button press.Do wish the attachment points were copper or that the device came with a short hose extension to avoid snapping the connectors off.

Why didn’t I got this before! So much better than clumsy Orbit controller
We are used to Rachio for controlling our sprinkler system and always struggle to get our small garden-hosed-based drip irrigation to work properly. I was using Orbit programmable timer but it was always a chore to change the timing based on weather. Most importantly if we accidentally turned off the hose valve, there was no notification (or intelligence) until we noticed that our plants were dying 🤦♂️. I use home automation (Apple HomeKit) so I was searching for a solution that would integrate with my home-automation setup. I came across Sonoff Smart Hose by chance looking for some Zigbee controllers. I got this and since this is a pure Zigbee device, I was able to add this to my Zigbee2MQTT tied to HomeBridge. I can control this with my HomeKit shortcuts. There is an option to use the Sonoff bridge to control this if Homebridge is not there. Hands down I am very happy with the setup.

Don't even bother water pressure is close to nothing when in-line.
If there were a choice for NO STARS I would have chosen that. Placed the device in line with a hose and just barely a trickle came out, not enough to power a small sprinkler. Moved over to another hose bib that may have more pressure very close to the main water inlet into the house and tried again. The same thing happened just a trickle of water coming out. Have started the return process, kind of sad there are not many of these devices out there to chose from if ANY others I have yet to find that works with Zigbee and Home Assistant. It did pair correctly but that's about it.

I was able to add this valve to Hubitat and found the proper driver for it to work.
I was not sure if this valve was going to work with Hubitat, but after a little bit of I found there is a driver to use which works well. I am also using Apple home integration with Hubitat and am able to share these to Home and control them that way. It is kind of nice to have my Apple Watch on and be able to ask SIRI to turn the hose off and on.

Integrated my sprinklers with Home Assistant
It works, and hasn't had any range issues when used outside despite not having any Zigbee repeaters.Excellent. I'd be sure to bring this inside when it starts to get close to freezing weather, but at that point you should be shutting off/winterizing your spigots anyway.

Flow volume rate does not work
Flow volume rate does not work over zigbee connected home-assistant installation. I've tested multiple times with varying garden hose spigot adjustments. Even work with manufacturer and receive replacement, which also doesn't report water volume flow rate.
