Amazing. Simply amazing.
Incredible ear buds. I’ve purchased a ton of Soundcore stuff recently for their features and varieties and a long history of Apple AirPods and Beats studios, Monster, etc. Ear buds were basically a disposable thing to pop into my ears. I found that none of the soundcore variety stayed in my ears all too well which is a big deal since active noise cancelling (ANC) is a frequently sought out industry standard. Plus, no one seems to be able to hear me when I use them. Oh and I had one of there over the ear headphones, Q40s or something? Sounded great, ANC was impressive. Fell off my head once, and cracked. What a waste. So I decide to spend slightly more money and took advantage of a Black Friday sale. $150 later and some homework: I was looking to the Tour Pro 2s and 3s and found that the Live Beam 3s were meant to replace the Tour 2s, I decided to give these a try. First off, they’re a bit larger in the main housing so they snug to my ear better unconditional of the silicone tip size. Once I selected the smaller silicone tip, it was the most accurate fit I’ve had to date of anything I’ve tried in ear. Even better? Download the app and it will detect how effective your seal is. WHAT! I’m an audiophile in that I like good sounding music and that I believe very few thing will ever beat the organic sound of vinyl, but I won’t tell you why you need to hear a wider spectrum than 20hz to 20Khz - sorry. But they sound amazing. It’s full. It’s clear. It’s bright. Features. Features. Features. I think these have definitely set a standard in UI controlled feature set. The app is touted as one of the best and most of the feature you will frequent the app for you can do right on the cases’ built in screen. So friggin’ cool. People have argued that the ANC allows some noise to bleed through and although I understand where they’re coming from I find it to be 97% acceptable. I don’t expect to have padded room mind bending silence and I don’t know what I would do with that kind of isolation. The ambient mode allows me to keep my buds in and still not be anti social. There a cool smart talk feature that when you begin to talk it can set a period where it switches immediately to an ambient talk through mode so you can maintain your interaction interruption free. I turn it off but, how thoughtful! All in all. I’m still being wowed by this. And oh, people can hear me talk now! I also own the JBL Live 770NC. My friend has the Bose Quietcomfort headphones and side by side I think mine decimate hers. The deal breaker? She was in LaGuardia airport and I couldn’t make out a single thing she was saying. It sounded like the headphones were left under a blanket and she was whispering in the corner of the very room. For double the price, that’s shameful. I think JBL is cranking out some heat. I wouldn’t be surprised if you can get only what you can afford and if it says JBL you’ll be content.

Excellent Quality and Sound / Awesome price.
Absolutely one of the best earbuds I’ve ever owned. Sound quality is amazing, deep bass, active noise cancellation controls and the lcd screen on the base really makes it easy to navigate through the rest of the menu without having to reach for your phone. Trust me. You’ll love them.

Naughty battery life
Don’t be a naughty raccoon in the trash can , just buy live beams now and enjoy ear buds with noise canceling , ancillary mode , and a less than 2 inch touchscreen interface with so many audio customizations , it should make any audiophile smile knowing JBL packed this much punch in these earbuds , however thee battery life is WAY OVERLY EXAGGERATED, come on JBL that is naughty you need a spatula to your corporate booties , there is no way to determine battery life but it’s not JBL marked time , turn your brightness down to unit 1 and then make sure you swap your audio customizations on and off and that will drastically improve battery almost by 1 hr , if battery life makes you cry then don’t buy this but if you need some nice buds interchangeably for all the tasks you do through out the day and certainly for us audio freaks ,gamers , and graphic designers ,there is nothing to complain about when my earbuds have a touchscreen interface and didnt I say noise canceling ?😎

Kinda expensive
I have had these for abt a year now and coming from someome that wears esrbuds everyday heres my opinon. Pros: great sound, good bass, amazing case battery life, great customization, and good quality Cons: case will unlock in pocket and mess up settings, when using for excersise (if u have long hair) it can bug out a little, earbuds do not have the best battery life. For $200+ i would say these are a good option but not the best. I would expect the quality ive had with these to be maybe $150. If you want name brands earbuds and dont use these a ton then these would be amazing but for a more active person these are on the mid level

JBL ... need I say more?
I use these when my husband is watching TV on blast or when I want to use my phone without bothering others. Sounds great, but I'm no audio snob, so I can't speak about specs, etc. Noise canceling functions well and controls are user friendly. Appreciate the charge indication display on the case. Charge has been long-lasting, but it should be noted I do not use these to talk... just listening.

Connectivity - Even a factory reset won't save you
Atrocious product, DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. You have been warned. The headphones worked for about 2 months, conveniently past the refund window, before the left headphone was no longer being recognized after a failed update. Updates require both headphones to be connected to your phone via Bluetooth, and factory resets require both headphones to be in sync with each other. Once an update causes a problem, or if one of the headphones gets out of sync because the case isn't charging it, it will stop working and you cannot salvage it. We've tried literally everything, including unsuccessful factory resets, different devices, etc. but it's just done, they no longer work. We reached out to JBL support and, after giving us the standard troubleshooting options (and a half hour of our time) they disconnected on us. Online help directed us to the "JBL Firmware Update" app that would resolve our issues, however that app is not available in the United States according to the Google Play Store. The next two attempts to connect to customer service resulted in additional disconnects without help, just repeating the same troubleshooting steps that we had already tried. Before this, there were other issues too. You can't disable ALL touch inputs which means that every time you need to adjust them (which for me, was frequent even with the largest ), you have to be very careful to not accidentally tap the outside of them. You can only use the features in the app while the headphones are connected, and never without. The case they come with has a touch screen that out of the box, barely functions and has a lot of superfluous add-ons. Getting the app set up and paired with your headphones can also be rather time consuming, as can the updates which require you to stay on the app's update page, all for some earbuds. Oh, and lastly, while the audio is decent for earbuds...they certainly are not worth the money. The noise canceling doesn't function particularly well either. I know we are not the only review complaining about this. Don't ignore them. Just...avoid this headache and save yourself the ridiculous amount of money this mediocre broken product asks for. Buy literally anything else that is NOT a JBL product.

Worth the buy
Comfort is good, fits good, specially when small headphones are known to fall off easy. Many options but easy to use once you mess around with them a bit. Sound clarity and bass are amazing that makes noise cancelling great which is what I was hopping worked great. Compared to my $200 galaxy Samsung buds. These are definitely worth the buy..

Amazing ear buds for the first few months
I’ve had mine for about a year now and I love everything about them, the reason for the 3 stars is after about 7 months the screen stopped working completely, and the audio quality has drastically decreased since then. There’s a rattle in the right ear bud, the audio often comes out really quiet or fuzzy, and the ear buds themselves don’t charge sometimes. Overall the first 7 months was great they sounded better than AirPods Pro and battery life was great.
