very pretty
Upon opening this keyboard - I have to say I was very impressed. Had a good weight, felt great, sounded great... love the bubble sound. The light modes were a little difficult to figure out at first but you get a manual on it and can find videos on youtube. After about 4-5 months of use, the two things that i probably have a gripe on is 1 the volume knob is not secured. It literally falls off if you were to turn the keyboard over and 2, don't keep the keyboard plugged in all the time. If you keep it plugged for too long, the keys don't always type what you want to type so you to smash your finger a bit harder than normal. Charge and use it w/ bluetooth til it dies.

Possibly My Favorite Keyboard...Ever!
I love this keyboard. The sounds are crisp, but not as 'snappy' as with my Womier 75. That's not a criticism. I love both keyboards for entirely different reasons. My KiiBoom Phantom 98 is perfect for my Alienware M17 R4. They're not going to travel with me, and that's a good thing. The laptop weighs about nine pounds and the Kiiboom weighs about four pounds. Something to bear in mind if you're looking for a keyboard to use with your laptop or tablet, especially if you want to take it with you. The color choices allow you to change the look of the keyboard to suit your mood. I like the black lettering on the keys. Very easy to read in a dark room without the glare of the lights distracting. Speaking of lights, you can adjust the intensity as well as the design. Options, options. I highly recommend this keyboard, but caution that it is not something easily transportable.

Pretty keyboard, but....
The keyboard is great, but I have a couple of issues with it. First, I'll start with the positives:1. The transparency of the keyboard is great. It is totally see through from top to bottom, front to back, allowing the RGB to shine through.2. It's hot-swappable. The switches come out of the VERY EASILY, which brings me to the cons....1. Since the switches come out so easily, changing the keycaps is a nightmare because the keycaps fit so tightly on the switch (btw, I'm using KIIBOOM keycaps mind you, when taking off the keycap, the switch comes out and clings tightly to the keycap. Trying to separate the keycap from the switch is very difficult. I've stabbed my index finger numerous times on the switch pins. It shouldn't be this hard to change a simple keycap. For the price point of this keyboard, it shouldn't be this difficult.2. There is no orange or pink color in the RGB color rotation. I don't know if the pink is supposed double as purple or what, but there are no 2 distinct colors for each. Again, for what I paid for this keyboard, I should have every color in the rainbow on this keyboard. Cheaper keyboards have more colors. IJS....3. You would think with this being a TOTALLY SEE THROUGH keyboard with clear switches, the RBG would be brighter... it's not. Once again, for the price, I expected better.

Obsessed.
The media could not be loaded. I never thought I'd have a crush on a keyboard. But I am absolutely in love with my Phantom 98.At nearly four pounds, this keyboard has some serious weight to it. I have seen folks on YouTube complain about this and consider it a drawback, but I think its weight is a testament to its quality, durability, and cost. You get a lot of bang for your buck.To expand on that point, I have priced out what it would cost to build a custom keyboard that looks, feels and SOUNDS like the KiiBoom Phantom, and the $220 for this prebuild is a steal. It did come with a metal keycap, which I found to be tacky and therefore I discarded it, two extra switches, and all the accessories you'd need customize the look and sound of the keyboard. The knob feels extremely durable and is made of metal.I do have some issues with the lackluster instruction manual it comes with. The RGB software is overwhelming for someone like me that is completely new to keyboards. The software is VERY much a figure-it-out-for-yourself process. The manual says not one word about how to use the software.Another annoyance I have is that there is no orange RGB. For the price, it should have it. The colors never look accurate and the RGB mode is just overall a letdown. Luckily, I got this for work and haven't much use for the RGB functionality of the keyboard. Still, I was disappointed.I have gotten three compliments on this keyboard today, and this is the first day I bust it out at work. I cannot stop looking at it or typing on it. Would recommend a million times.

Quality
The media could not be loaded. So worth the price. This is quality. The weight, the feel, the lights - everything. The video doesn’t do the sound or leds justice. Amazing!
