Bulky stock charger is no good for a one outlet vehicle. Not trading in my funcntional car charger adapter for this. It couldn't beat it so I made them join. Makes sense for a USB-A slot does it not,especially with an USB-A angle adapter. The stock charger is back in the box it came in. Wiring is plenty long. You'll likely wrap up the remaining wiring. Thumbs up!

Changed cords on my radar detector because I got a new vehicle w/o the lighter socket. Now my radar detector never stops going off. Didn’t have this with the original cord.

Works great. After purchasing a new truck I found that they no longer have the round 12 volt plug-in. They do have usb plug-ins, so this works great and allows me to get a few more years out of my radar detector.

Bought this for my escort to Cadillac sx6 that does not have a cigarette lighter, it does not work, will not power up the detector, do not recommend

I bought this to replace the cord that came with my radar detector that had to be plugged into the cigarette lighter receptacle. So much easier to plug it into my USB port and stays out of the way too.
