Taste good
These are whole sardines (no heads) in a decent hot sauce. They have skin and bones but both are edible. I like them and they taste good and are reasonably priced.

Bumblebee sardines
Bumblebee sardines are a peasant surprise. The sardines are whole, not broken or mushy and have a great taste. The size is small and consistent which also means smaller bones that are mostly undetectable. These were packed in water. Great for making fried sardine cakes.

Tasty.
Tasty. However, the tins seem less full. It's like they removed some sardines to make up for adding mustard flavor.

The best and healthy sardines.
The flavor is fantastic, and don't have additional additives. The sardines in oil are poisoned with bad quality oils. Canola oil is the worst and the Olive oil is not extra virgin. If you like sardines or any kind of food always read the label first

You can’t beat $1.06 a can!
Bumble Bee Sardines are a great protein option and my husband likes them as an alternate option to sandwiches in his work lunch. Bumble Bee offers a couple of different flavors, but husband likes the taste of basic sardines in oil Best. The box of 12 tins on Amazon is an unbeatable price. I prefer the Bumble Bee brand because they don’t have an overwhelmingly fishy smell and offer basic healthy food without a lot of chemical preservatives… Like the Bumble Bee logo says on the can:“Bee Well For Life”!

Terrible Texture
As I see with other reviews, I opened my first can and couldn't believe my eyes. The sardines looked pureed in a blender. Against my better judgement, I ate the mushy mess in crackers. I lived. Will not open the remaining 11 cans.I also purchased 12 cans of their smoked - flavored salmon. Though not the crisp appearance of same purchased in local markets, they were bottom - rung acceptable. I'll stick with my local stores and perhaps seek alternative brands. Those sardines looked like cat food.

Tolerable
I was really hoping that this would taste as good as the Brunswick wild caught sardines as the Bumblebee is less money. But no, it doesn’t even come close. It’s tolerable so I’ll work my way through it but It’s worth paying the extra money for the Brunswick. The Bumblebee has more oil in it and it is soy not olive oil. The cans are also smaller-3.75 oz than the 4.4 oz Brunswick. The Brunswick sardines fill the can up with little olive oil and is very tasty. I also recently tried the Bumblebee in water and it was so horrible that my cats wouldn’t even eat it. It taste bad and is mushy in a lot of water. Won’t buy Bumblebee brand again.
