This carburetor was purchased for a Tecumseh HM80 small engine, and fit as advertised. This carburetor does not have the high speed fuel adjustment on the bottom of the fuel bowl, as the original had. Upon installation, the engine ran pretty well at high speed, with the occasional hiccup. It did not run well at idle. There is a black cap on the side where the original had the low speed fuel adjusting screw. Taking the cap off,, there was a screw, but it merely plugged a hole. Rotating the screw changed nothing. The result being that the engine will not idle.If you have an engine that uses a fixed, high speed operation, such as a chipper or snowblower, and you don't need it to idle, this carburetor is sufficient.

Finally after much searching and getting one that almost fit (the choke arm was too short and hit air filter case), this one worked although slightly different from OEM. The chipper/ shredder started up on the second pull! Very happy.

I modified the throttle arm and put this on my 1977 Onan 6W generator with a fuel pressure regulator and it seems to work great.

Put this thing on my wood chipper. It ran but it was shaking like crazy and leaking gas. I also thought the throttle return spring was broken or missing at first. But it wasn't even hooked on right. If you look at the picture you will see why it was leaking gas and shaking. I figured I'd keep it and scavenge parts off of it instead of returning it. If you decide to do that the needle valve is different than a Tecumseh needle valve. And when you take the float bowl off everything just falls apart. Clip on top of the needle valve is different than the Tecumseh one. This one is also rubber on the tip like cars used to be. Wound up cleaning my old one from 2003 and the thing is running great! This was marked as a choice part that I got overnight.

Bought a pressure washer on auction with a Tecumseh 10HP. Carb was clogged. After no luck finding it locally I ordered this. In less than 5 minutes my pressure washer was running perfectly.Would definitely buy again & recommend

Great replacement carburetor. I was really surprised such an inexpensive replacement carburetor works so well. Bolted right up to my Tecumseh wood chipper and I had it running in 10 minutes. It had been sitting for a few years before I acquired it and had serious carb issues. My choices were buy a rebuild kit and rebuild it myself, or buy a whole new carburetor for four bucks more. This was the wise choice. I definitely recommend. Just make sure to plug that extra vacuum port if you don’t use it.

The media could not be loaded.  Was satisfied with the carburetor but fuel bowl had a small crack in the side which allowed it to leak fuel. I used old fuel bowl from bad carburetor to satisfy customer. Will not order from this supplier again.
