BG 245 Premium Diesel Fuel System Cleaner - 1 x 325ml

I've used numerous different fuel additives over thirty years or so of driving and they've been largely mediocre. This is absolutely exceptional in every respect. I have a Honda Civic 2.2 cdti. 137k - It's from 2008 and runs okay. I tend not to use cheap diesel and thought it he car ran as well as it should. The BG245 was added to a nearly full tank as a just in case thing to make sure I was getting the best from the car. I didn't expect much of an improvement as this is already a reliable, economical and very quick car for it's class. The difference after about 120 miles is astonishing. It's altogether smoother, much quieter, starts better, uses a reasonable amount less fuel and pulls like a train right across the rev range. It's much quicker and the cabin noise is considerably reduced at all speeds. Very surprised and more than happy to recommend this to anyone.

Wow. Just got a 2.2 Rav4 with 120k on it. Tippity tappety when accelerating or under any strain as well as when cold. Added this (its the right size to treat one tankful) and after using 3/4 of the tank on a combination of short and one long trip its almost silent, and smooth and noticeably more power. Well worth it as its clearly cleaned the engine and injectors. Top value and much cheaper than new injectors. Don't waste money on the cheaper alternatives, spend a little more for a big difference.

Very good product, cleaned well my cat fuel system and all issues disappeared.

Haven't used this yet as I'm waiting until my cars tank is very low so it will get a good mixing when I fill it up. However unless their standards have slipped, I can say when I used it on my old car it improved the running and the mpg quite significantly.

Took the plunge and invested in a more expensive cleaner than I had done previously owing to some hesitation that I was getting in my Countryman at low revs that felt like a blockage. I’m half way through the tank and the issue looks to have cleared. Happy with that.

I had a check engine light on for turbo issues, no mechanic could fix, read about the product and gave it a go. Light didn’t come up again after I cleaned the system with BG245.

Great product, worked like magic saved me a few hundred pounds, as the engine management light went off for ever, but not to be used frequently

I use this twice a year, just before my MOT and 6 months after. On the one occasion I didn't use it (last year) my car failed its MOT on emissions due to alleged excess smoke. A can of this in a full tank of diesel followed by some "spirited" driving i.e motorway speeds in 4th gear and the car passed the emissions test with practically a zero reading on the meter. Don't expect a miracle within the first few miles of driving. You need to give it time to work and use the entire tank of fuel in the car before filling up again.
