I recently picked the Suroad slip-on boat shoes for women, and I have mixed feelings about them. These shoes are undeniably cute and lightweight, making them a decent choice for casual outings or lounging around the house. However, there are concerns.First and foremost, the sizing of these shoes seems to run a bit small. I typically wear a size 9, and I decided to go with that size based on previous experiences where it accommodated both my size 9 and 9.5 feet. Unfortunately, this is one of those times that the size 9 for these boat shoes is a bit too small. My one foot's toe is finding itself rubbing against the front of the shoe, which made it uncomfortable for extended wear. (I do wear these boat shoes with thin socks.) I would strongly recommend going up half a size to ensure a more comfortable fit, especially for irregular size feet.In terms of comfort, the Suroad boat shoes are mediocre. Nothing about wearing these boat shoes makes me say "Ooh, that's comfortable." It's more like, "They're okay." They are basically canvas-covered flats, akin to Tom's canvas flat. The insoles are a dense cushion about 3/8 inch thick, which is decent enough, but offers negligible arch support. However, the insoles are removable and can be replaced with something better suitable and more comfortable, if needed. I think people who enjoy walking barefoot or wearing flats most of the time may enjoy what these pretty boat shoes have to offer better than those of us who need some extra support.On a more positive note, I must admit that these loafers by Suroad are undeniably stylish and cute. For a fashionable slip-on option for relaxed occasions, they certainly fit the bill.

I ordered a pair because I thought they looked cute and comfy. I was disappointed when they didn't fit and returned them. To bad they didn't have ½ sizes. A 5½ and they probably would have fit.

What I expected, fit perfect.
