Please note this review is based on a single item - am sure that the quality of fabric and workmanship will vary given the source and the difference between plain and printed fabrics).I didn't hold out much hope for this dress but I was desperate to replace a much-loved item that I'd spilled bleach over.The fabric was surprisingly heavy, which makes the dress hang very elegantly without clinging or bunching up while you walk.There is a good amount of stretch ( some reviews say there is no stretch, I guess this is due to variances in fabrics ) with just the right amount of elastic around the waist. The waist is just the right height for me, as I have a large bust. It might be too low for those with a very small bust/flat chest, but would look great with a wide belt.The pockets aren't huge, so don't go putting your mobile phone, wallet, or car keys in them.Everything seems reasonably well put together. There were a few loose threads but those were easily trimmed and seams are still intact.The dress washes well. I took the risk of tumble drying it, and there was only the tiniest amount of shrinkage (barely 1cm in the overall length).I would have given 5 stars if I'd been able to get this colour (grey) in the long-sleeve variant.

I'm 5'3 and ita too long for me. I had to take it up a little because it was just that little bit too long.

The dress was very badly creased when Iopened the package, and the material a lot thinner than I'd hoped. I've had it hanging up for two weeks and creases haven't fallen out, I don't want to iron it as I think it will stretch the fabric. Will try steaming, but for this reason I'm only giving 3*The fit and length was good.

This dress is beautiful and a really light material making it perfect to wear on these hot days/evenings.I’m a 14/16 and bought a large and it has plenty of room in.

It's not rayon as described, it's polyester. The material looks all right but does feel stifling under the arms, being a synthetic fabric. The dress itself is quite flattering, love the pockets. There is some bulk in the gathering over the tummy but I suppose that's to be expected with the style.I am a UK size 8 and went for a Small rather than Extra Small (been putting on weight during lockdown). I could hear stitches popping as I put it on, put once on it was a little big in the shoulders. If I'd gone down a size it may have been the right size but I'm not sure I could have got it on. I am 5ft 3 and this is the perfect maxi length worn with a pair of trainers. It's too long for me to wear with completely flat shoes.The stars are deducted because the fabric is not as described.

Have ordered two of the navy now. I was extremely pleased as it was a nice weight but somehow the second which has been ordered several weeks later does not have the same weightiness of material. I previously wore the first one out and about accessorising it with some nice summer scarves. This dress seems a lot lighter and I would feel a bit bare if I wore it out of the house. Would love some feedback from manufacturers as I really likes the style of these dresses. Although extremely inexpensive the navy looked quite the opposite with accessories. As mentioned would love some feedback as I was intending purchasing a few long sleeved for cooler weather. Has something changed with fabric ?

This dress is absolutely beautiful, it fits really well, light weight, comfy and flattering. Wore this to my cousins wedding at the weekend (October) and it kept me cool during the day while it was warm, yet when the temperature dropped I was still warm in it. Did need a bit of accessorising but completely satisfied with it.

I really love the style and fit of these dresses it’s also a really comfy dress, but the material is awful. It’s a cheap material it attracts any fibres, hair, dust and it doesn’t come off easily even after a wash. It also is that kind of material that traps sweat and it’s fairly thick/heavy so it wouldn’t be ideal abroad or when it’s really hot. I’ve worn it when the temp is 26c plus and i’ve really felt the heat. It also tends to go bobbly very fast I own two of these dresses and I love them so I order other colours but the fit isn’t consistent in the various sizes. I’m a 14-16 I order XL as I find L slightly tight on my back whereas as XL has that oversized look I prefer with this style of dress. Sometimes I feel the dress makes me look top heavy as the waist band sits quite high and i’m a GG cup but I continue to buy these dresses as they are so comfy.
