Look very sturdy although we have not had cause to use them yet.

After the winter we just had here in Ontario with a dumping of very deep snow and our van getting stuck, I wish I had ordered a set of these years ago. Sure you can buy cheaper thinner plastic treads but when you see how beefy these are and their ability to get your vehicle unstuck in deep snow you will wish you had a set of these instead. Our van sits a good distance above the snow usually but this past winter we were getting stuck. These arrived in 1 day and we got to use it for the second storm. Sure enough we got stuck, and we jammed these treads under the front tires so it was butted up under tire and then drove up on them and out of the snow! Life saver. Especially for us because we work nights and when you get stuck in the night no one is up to help you push your vehicle out of the snow so you'd have to wait for a tow-truck and that can take hours upon hours during a snowstorm. Do yourself a favour and get a set. You will save your transmission because you won't be spinning your tires (this is hard on the transmission), plus you won't be messing around for a long time trying to get your car out of the snow.

I carry 2 of these in my car emergency kit in winter. They are very heavy duty and work well if you get stuck in the snow. It rolls up and has a cover so it doesn't get dirt all over the car and takes up very little room. I've also used it a couple of times when my lawn tractor has gotten stuck on a slope when the grass is wet and slick. Works a treat.

The mat looks nice, I am disappointed because only one mat per kit, it's a but useless because a car has 4 wheels so you need to buy minimum 2 kits, I bought 2 kit expecting 4 mats, nowhere it says 1 mat per kit.
