It is very disappointing that Dyson has this problem. Had they tested this product properly, they would have changed the trigger. But, that being said, this is an excellent solution. It took me about an hour to do. The video is excellent but the getting the wiring out of the housing, and back in, was a little harder than the video appeared. If you are patient, careful, and somewhat mechanically inclined this is a great solution to the trigger problem. Be careful to keep track of which screws go where. There aren't a lot of screws but it is still a good idea. I had no problem getting the new trigger in place, but watch the video carefully on that part. Also, they installed the trigger on a nice clean model. Your vacuum is probably full of dust so be prepared for a dusty mess. I also took the opportunity to clean all that dust out of the body of the vacuum. The cool part was that, when finished, I used the vacuum to clean up the work bench!

This trigger replacement saved me from having to buy a new vacuum! I watched the video before and during disassembly and assembly. It is a little tricky at one point, but I did it!! The tools are great that came with it, and there is also an extra trigger and a case.

This set had all the tools needed to swap out the trigger. The trigger fit well on my V11 torque. Actually this one is (in my opinion) better built than the original one that came from Dyson.Hope this helps :-)

Good quality product, delivered quickly. Instructions are through and the tools and part work as described.The metal trigger should resolve the problem from occurring in the future. Highly recommend this kit.
