This is brilliant can use in any room

The speaker is very basic so for music you might as well just buy any cheap bluetooth speaker. The device itself is very slow even just using a basic app like spotify. Google never seems to know whether I am speaking to my phone or this device, making simple requests a nightmare. Nothing smart about it, just a useless and frustrating product all around. I would return it if the return window hadn't already closed.

Not sure why all the low reviews, buying this as a primary speaker seems to be a waste of money. Perfect for background music in the bedroom or home office.We use ours for controlling lighst, lamps, heating and wax burners. Synced with another home hub (bedroom) and mini home (bathroom) we also play music throughout upstairs easily with just voice command. Setting timers for lights, scents and heat is also a doddle. Knowing the heat/temperature upstairs and downstairs as well as adjusting it is helping us to beneficially tweak our billing.I have had to turn off my phone's voice activation when home to stop doubling up but that's not even been noticeable and perhaps its better this way as the assistant doesn't pipe up during random videos and conversations.Using this as a voice controller for our increasing smart devices that also plays music and acts as a photo frame, I can't fault it. Go see some YouTube reviews rather than the misleading ones here.

We had one before but it's life expired. My partner uses it in the kitchen for recipes or to just listen to the radio. The sound quality is good for the size of the device. The screen quality is also as good considering it's size.

Works well with doorbell and linked lights , plugs

Bought it to use as a music /video streaming device, (as suggested by family compatible with more streaming services than amazon echo and while compatible with amazon music, the speaker is terrible quality and not as much volume as my phone. So may as well use that to stream to a bluetooth speaker
