I love this thing and I'm not really even a bird fan. There's just something about this that appealed to me and I'm glad I chose it.Not only does it provide enough light to light up a dark bedroom, but it does it with style.That said, I think I'm going to modify it. I'm going to either cover the LED with a purple theater light gel, or I'm going to just replace the LED with a UV one.Even leaving it as is, though, is still an awesome choice. I'm thinking of getting another one so I can have a matching set and use them as scones to flank the sides of my bed.

This is such a cool light! Well, actually, just the fact that the owl's wings and tail glow on the wall is cool. The light itself is ugly. It's just plain white, cheap 3D-printed plastic that looks pretty hideous in daylight. It runs on batteries, so I don't use it all that much because who can afford to put new batteries in it every couple of days? I wish it plugged in so I could keep it on all the time. It's described as "holographic", but I think that whoever wrote that doesn't know what holographic means because it's not. It just lights up & projects the light onto the wall in the form of the owl's wings & tail. They also describe it as "solar" - again, I think whoever wrote that doesn't know what that word means either because nothing about this is "solar". It's really not worth the $28 price tag. Maybe half that. And it's really, really small as well - about the size of my hand.

Out of the box, it doesn't look like much. But once you get it mounted and turn it on, the magic happens! It works best on a flat, nontextured wall, but you'll still be able to see it even on textured walls. The power switch is on top of the head, so it's easy to turn on and off. My one complaint with the item is that it's powered by a 23a 12v battery. Most of us don't have rechargeables in that size, so it's going to require an addition purchase to use regularly. Outside of that, it's an eye-catching and unique night light.

This owl display is actually quite relaxing and beautiful to look at even when meditating. It makes a great gift and is an absolute beautiful display. This could be great for an adult or a child. The entire look looks overall angelic. It will make a great gift and nightlight for anyone especially the owl lover.

Love the concept, but the delivery was highly disappointing. It felt quite cheap. Any close examination shows all sorts of edges and flaws. I know this is meant to be seen at a distance... but that doesn't mean it should be phoned in. The light function is another feature that is conceptually better than delivered. The light isn't all that bright. And, the angle of the light doesn't expand the wings as far, or as cleanly as imaged.

I was a bit skeptical because I expected the projection to look a little off or to just not look like an owl at all, but I was honestly so happy when I turned it on and it looked exactly like the picture! It's not too bright either, so it works as a little night light as well!

Really cool 3d printed light. The print itself is a nice quality. The lights have a small button that lets you run it on and off and is powered by a battery so you can more it or place it almost anywhere you want. This is more of an ambient light than something super light so keep that in mind. Overall really happy with this and love to look at it.
