I have always used these cloths to clean my specs. I recently had to replace my glasses prescription and tried using those silky cloths provided by the optician. All they seem to do is move the dirt and grease around the glasses so back to the old faithful. I have used these for about 10 years and wouldn’t change them. They leave glasses clean and clear. For heavy marks I use the Calotherm spray. Never fails to get perfect results.

A Top Quality Product

I thought this would not work, or work as well as any other cleaning cloth. This is much much better!! I use these on very expensive camera lenses, and my spectacles and even when they get greasy, these cloths remove it straight away. Would also recommend the spray

I find these cloths to be effective at cleaning dirty glasses. I usually buy several at a time as they eventually need replacing as they age etc.

I'm a cameraman and I'm never found without at least a couple of lens cloths on my person at any time. I buy Calotherm cloths because they work exactly as advertised and it's partially my namesake so sometimes gets a laugh. I prefer the smaller 8"x6" cloths as they fit inside pockets easily. Also easy to hide away in kit bag pockets. I go through stacks of them as they're only really good for a few uses, as any lens cloth should be. Re-using cloths on expensive lenses is a no go as you're potentially wiping previous bits of detritus and risk scratching the lens. For this reason I'd love it if Amazon could introduce a subscribe & save on this item or if Calotherm made larger packs than just 4. The cloths are supposedly machine washable but I've yet to put this to the test. I'm not sure how you'd get them dry after the fact as leaving them out for any length of time would surely mean they get dusty being out in the open. Perhaps tumble drying on a delicates setting might be the best course of action. I'll update this review if I ever test this out.

These cloths are excellent. I borrowed one at work and liked it so I bought one from Amazon, then I kept losing it so I bought a pack of 4 so I can have one with each set of specs and sunglasses. I even gave one to my dad. Better than buying disposables and they leave your glasses so clean and smear-free.

These cloths clean my lenses better than anything I’ve ever used. That is why I bought a job lot!
