Best bike ever had problems at the start but fixed really easily great buy

I had read some mixed reviews. Some people thinking that it is not a very good quality bike. I have to say it is phenomenal. Awesome Super cool Cannot beat the price. One of the best on the market for sure. I have rowed every type of scooter. I have rowed every type of dirt bike electric. I'm a 135 pounds. I'm 46 years old. I've been riding dirt bike since I was 10. I have a 150 CC pit bike souped-up. Race ready? And when I get on this electric bike? I feel like I'm on my pit bike their phenomenal. I wouldn't definitely if there were 10 stars that I could push, I would push 10 plus

I would give it 0 starts. Buyer beware! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PROCEED TO CHECKOUT!! Issues with shipping, bike functionality/safety, and customer service. I paid $150 extra for a color my son liked but would have preferred the black one(for $150 less) and longer ship time but the green came 5 days sooner for more money. The bike did not come when expected it came when the black one would have( I understand not their fault) but my son was crushed everyday it didn’t come. I called mototec to see if I could recover my $150 because the delivery expectation was not met. That was a NO, which fine irritating but fine. But the person who emailed(email only, no calls) did follow the NO, did however make me feel better with saying if you have any issues with the bike we will give you a FULL refund/return. Which made me feel like the product it awesome and it’s worth the wait and my son is going to be so happy. Then the bike arrives. The box was barely hanging on, it was a normal box with 160lbs bike in it. Ok, box damaged and the bike was fine. Until my husband started assembling it. Some bolts are too small etc…. The forks where not tightened(if you don’t understand bikes, you and I would not know) the forks keep the front wheel on and steer the bike. Again a gift for my son. Huge safety issues but my husband having the knowledge needed, he combed through the bike fixing and tightening any issues. It took some time but he was confident it was safe and we were ready to have my son take it for a ride. So my husband goes to start the bike and he can’t turn the key. Hum, so we read for the directions in the assembly manual and find nothing. So he googles it. He finds the answer there. We do everything. Still can’t turn the key. I emailed the company and the stated to do what google stated. Still nothing. All while watching my son get more and more upset. Buy a new $300 starter. No thanks, we will graciously take you up on that refund/return you offered in full. You will not without paying a 20% restocking fee and pay for return shipping. Huh, what? So now we are to present time and I am still waiting for an answer from Amazon to not have to pay for any of that, because mototec did not honor their commitment to give us a full refund and free return shipping. And has refused multiple times. So now I hoping Amazon will right their wrong…..DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The Bike is very cool, my son loves riding it. The assembly instructions are not good. that being said, I did fid the assembly pretty straight forward. I will give shout out to the seller, they originally messaged me about a delay in shipping when told them it was for my sons birthday. they were very responsive and actually ended up getting it to me a day early than expected.

My son was so excited for this bike he’s been waiting years for. I finally was able to get it for him for Christmas. We get it and it was missing bolds to hold the plate on that’s pretty important. If it falls off the bike won’t go. So we had to zip tie it on bc it has special type of clips/bolts for it. The handle bars won’t stay tighten so his handlebars come off every time he rides it! Took it somewhere and they said the bolts are striped in the metal frame. Not sure how we can fix that bc it’s not the actual bolts that need replaced. From day 1 that’s been happening. Sometimes he’s riding it and the breaks just lock up! For $1300 bike I didn’t think I have so many issues!

The bike was amazing, my son had enjoyed it a lot!
