Orly Nail Defense, 0.6 Ounce

I have used Orly Nail Defense for many years. My nails so easily break, split, and often tear down into the quick. Yes, I take lots of vitamins, but my nails are weak and ridged no matter what.I discovered Nail Defense and have used it continuously - for at least 10 years and maybe longer. I used to get it at Sally’s Beauty Supply, but many Sally’s closed. Even before that it started being hard to find it even if I found a store open.Then I discovered I could buy it from Amazon. No problem since. I always have two or three bottles.The only problem, and it’s not enough to keep me from loving it, is that when the bottle gets low it becomes hard to get the brush in the product, and it gets thick. At that point, it’s barely usable.But I still think it is the best thing out there to protect weak nails like mine. A few coats and they’re as hard as an artificial nail, and I can grow long nails as long as I want if I use it often. If you want polish, it goes on so smoothly with Nail Defense underneath.

It really helps my fingernails and stops the “palling “. Or, pealing of top layer of nails.

For years I’ve used OPI Nail Envy, which really made a marked difference in my peeling, splitting easily broken fingernails. When OPI changed the formula, I no longer enjoyed the same benefits. Since then I’ve been searching for a suitable alternative, only to be disappointed. Either the polish would begin to peel off after 2 or 3 days, or my nails would split and break in spite of the polish. ORLY Nail Defense is the best replacement I’ve found. I’m generally happy with it and the results I’m seeing. I’ll buy this again.

Nails have been very weak and have been splitting and ripping. I have used this product over the years and it always worked great. In the past year, as a result of social media etc. I tried 2 other, more expensive brands which have a nice pink tint to them. NO! One changed color to brown in the bottle and the other, even though I used it as directed still saw my nails ripping-while the product was on. Back to Orly!! The odor is a bit harsh when wet. Dries quickly. Maintains shine. I have used it alone and under and over polish. Don't get caught up in the social media hype. This product has been around forever for a good reason-It Works!

Orly white ridge filler works well. The clear one they sent to me, isn’t so great. Nail defense. Wrong product but u kept because waited awhile to receive it.

I placed this nail defense on one hand and just another brand top coat on the other hand. Two weeks later, I have not noticed any difference in my nails from my left to my right. Not sure if I needed to give it more time or not.

Easy to use, natural shiny nail look. Seems to be protecting the nail as well.
