Absolutely love this bowl! Yes, it’s smaller than I expected, but turns out to be perfect size for my needs. It sits on my table & makes it simple to pull more thread. The bamboo construction is beautifully done & attractive.

Beautiful wooden yarn bowl with a perfect fitting lid. The craftsmanship was superb and worth every penny.

Bigger than expected which is actually quite nice. The exterior is gorgeous for the money and not too heavy. The reason for for stars is that the place(s) where the yard comes out could really be smoother because the yarn does a catch a little.

I didn't get this bowl to store yarn, although I'm sure it would be perfect for that purpose. I know that sounds morbid and sad, but I've been searching for an urn for my cat that passed away last year and am so so happy I finally found this beautiful item. I've purchased over four "pet" urns in the past six months---two, were the size of my thumb even though the description specified otherwise. The other two were specifically for cats, but were so cheaply made (and HUGE) it was almost comical. This little box is the perfect size and exactly what I've been looking for. It's made with beautiful, high quality, polished smooth bamboo. It's sturdy, is nicely weighted, and the yarn hold design in the front even looks a little like a cat's tail. I know I'm not using this item for what it was made for, but it's exactly what I've been searching for so long. I love it.

This bamboo yarn bowl is lovely. It will hold a small ball of yarn. The holes and slot are polished nicely, so the yarn doesn't snag. The lid will help keep that curious kitty away from the yarn. I just wish it were a little taller. I can't put the lid on until the yarn ball is a little smaller.

It's very nice and beautiful crafted but you can't keep the lid on with a normal skein of yarn.
