Update to my review
Update: The seller was very helpful in supporting my issue. I just needed to download a software that worked with the DVD player. Problem solved. Thank you!I have Windows 11 and no matter what video software I try to use, it won't play a video. I've only gotten audio to play one time. I've reached out to the seller. Awaiting response. Not happy and very inconvenient to have to go return it.

Useless...
Plugged it into my Dell Latitude laptop, it lit up, it opens, and...nothing. Tried several cables BESIDES the one that came with it, obviously, and... nothing. The computer doesn't see it. I refreshed, restarted, and updated the PC...nothing. I see here that others were given a link to download some drivers or software or something (which should have come with it), but not for me. So... it's going back tomorrow. It LOOKS good, but I already have all the paperweights I need. Good try.
