Good for more than bicycles
My wife uses a walking stick that opens up to be a seat. It is made from aluminium tubing but the part you grip was not cushioned at all. I searched around for a solution and found this product.I had to partly dismantle the seat (fortunately, they used nuts and bolts rather than rivets) and slide 3ocms or so all the way up to the top - some soapy water helped with this. My wife seems very happy with the result. It looks good and feels a lot better in her hand.
