Flavor
The nuts were awful. They tasted old and stale. Extremely disappointed and will never purchase from them again. Waste of money.

Lazy Susan mostly filled with nuts
It's not possible to tell from the product pages exactly how much food product (nuts) this assortment contains. The short description on the results page of the seller Artisanal Cravings lists the product as "Nuts 4 Pound (Pack of 1)". But the detailed product page shows a shipping weight of just over 4 pounds, including the lazy susan. And the nutritional info on the detailed page lists for each nut type a serving size of 1 ounce, and 1 serving per container. So I fully expected that I could receive as little as 9 ounces of nuts total.I was pleased to find that what I received contained about 4 ounces of each of 8 nut types, a total of about 2 pounds of nuts. Each of the eight equal-sized outer compartments is filled to the top (not overflowing). I weighed the almonds at 114 grams, essentially 4 ounces. Unfortunately, the middle compartment, which is smaller, contained no nuts, just the ribbon, which by the way I expected to be shipped wrapped around the carousel. So where were the pecans? Not present. The other compartments matched the product description (including the mislabeled "4th, Salted Peanuts" in the last picture on the product page, which look like and in fact were almonds). The carousel is made of wood, and it does turn smoothly as claimed, having ball bearings between the base and the top. However, it is wobbles vertically when you turn it, unlike sturdier serving carousels that I have. So, while unlike a cheap plastic container, the carousel can be reused, the recipient may not want to. I would not buy this assortment with the expectation that the recipient would want reuse the carousel, but it does make for a much nicer presentation than a plastic container. The carousel is shipped with the compartments already filled, and there is a clear plastic lid over the top. Then the whole carousel and contents are sealed with a good shrink-wrap for freshness (what I received had a freshness date 6 months in the future). The clear plastic lid is a good thing to have, since chances are that the whole tray will not be consumed at the first sitting :) . Since the lid is not airtight, I would suggest putting the whole thing back into the sturdy product box when putting it away after partial consumption. The nutritional info shown in the last image on the product-page sidebar had some extra entries, including an obviously bogus entry for a 794 gram, 5190 calorie, 1 ounce serving of walnuts. The nutrition sheet that came with the product had that entry corrected. It also contained entries for other nut types, since the seller uses the same nutrition sheet for various assortments.Besides the missing pecans and wobbly carousel, there were just a couple other negatives for me. As disclosed on the product page, the assortment contains "corn nuts," which I don't care for and aren't really nuts, but some people must like them. The ribbon was "do it yourself" -- but I expect to be able to ship a gift box directly to the recipient in its fully "gifty" configuration. If the ribbon is not already installed, do you think the recipient will do it before digging into the nuts? No, so don't bother including a DIY one.

Good Nuts, but Missing Pecans
These nuts taste pretty good. I especially liked the candied almonds and the cashews. They both seemed to be of especially good quality. And my wife really liked the pistachios and macadamias. They tray seems to be very sturdy and totally reuseable once the nuts are gone. It even has a plastic lining, so you could put dips and things into it without risking damage to the wood.I was somewhat disappointed in the selection. The nutrition information mentioned hazelnuts, which would have been great. Plain almonds just don't do it for me, and these were very hard. Walnuts are not at all my favorite, and they are nothing compared to pecans. That brings me to my biggest complaint. The candied pecans were missing. All that was in the central spot was a ribbon. That's terrible because the listing includes pecans, and they are my favorite nut. But also, if you are going to give this as a gift, you aren't going to want to open it to get the ribbon out and then give an unsealed present. It just doesn't make any sense.

Great fresh taste
The Gourmet Mixed Nuts Gift Basket with Lazy Susan is impressive. The nuts were fresh and tasted excellent, and the variety of nine assortments offered something for everyone. The sleek bamboo wood platter is a nice touch and reusable, adding to its appeal. However, the inclusion of a lid would make it perfect, as it would help keep the nuts fresh for longer. Overall, it's a great gift and a delightful addition to any gathering.

Ruined our experience
I sent it to my brother for a special festival, Raksha Bandhan. All the nuts were spoilt and rancid. Really ruined the experience

Mixed Nuts on a lazy susan
Good assortment of different nuts. They were good quality and pretty tasty. You only get a couple ounces of each nut. The Father-in-law enjoyed this for a fathers day present.
