I live in a small apartment and thus I have a small refrigerator. I use lots of ice. This thing works great. The machine works quickly. I recommend that when you see that the basket is getting full or is full, move the ice around with the scooper that is provided so it doesn’t clump together.Very handy! I’m glad I purchased it.

So far, this ice maker has worked great for us! We would let the basket fill, which takes under an hour, and we empty the contents into a one gallon ziploc bag. We lay the bag flat in the freezer, and separate the ice so they don't clump on top of one another. By the time the next basket is filled, the bagged ice is frozen, and we drop it on the counter to separate the ice that has stuck together. We empty the contents of the bag into an ice container that's in the freezer, and repeat the process with the ice from ice maker basket. In a few hours, we could fully fill the ice cube container in the freezer.For me, this beats running to the store for ice or making ice cubes in freezer trays, since the trays take up a bit too much space in out freezer.Only negative I would give to this maker is that it's not as quiet as I would like.

It makes a lot of heat for something that doesn't even keep the ice that cool. It's constantly melting and remaking the ice, and it makes my RV 10 times hotter. Won't be as much as a problem with fall and winter camping, but summer camping it's unusable.

Yes it has a sound I can hear from the other side of the house only when it turns over the ice /not a it deal at all.It turns on automatically when it runs out of ice.It Also turns off automatically when it’s filled up. As soon as u take ice out it turn on again. It’s automatic. Kind of amazing . The nice thing is the option for smaller ice cubes. Having this is helping me drink more water. My ice maker in th refrigerator was good but when u push it the ice sometimes comes out so fast flying onto the floor. The cost to replace the ice maker is ridiculous might as well buy a new refrigerator. This works fantastic . It’s not a huge amount of ice for a party but it is actually a good idea because it makes fresh ice for your quests . Not taking it out of a cooler where everyone is touching the ice. Sanitary comes with a scoop. Worth the money.Great for the summer.

Very cool. Makes 9 bullet ice cubes about every 6 minutes. Perfect for me and my son. We just make ice and save it in the freezer. Easy to use and clean. Totally worth the price. Now I always have ice when I need it. You won't get pounds of ice fast but it's good for regular use. Very pleased.

Love the color, works fine, it takes awhile to get much ice tho. Don’t leave the ice in the machine because it melts.

This thing is amazing! It is just as described. I looked at so many reviews of this and other ones. The common complaint was the ice freezes into one big hunk. It started that way for me. It holds way more water than ice it makes off of it. You need to empty the ice out of it every few cycles. keep in mind this is NOT a freezer really. Makes a ton of ice and quickly. Altho it does produce cold air as a by product of the ice making, it doesnt make it to keep the ice frozen. The ice does get dumped with "water" on the outside of the ice from the way it is made. I found the work around of the big block of ice was to first put the bin full of ice in a bowl and once fully "dry/frozen" put it in you big ice bin breaking apart anything that froze together. I use alot of ice and made dang near a weeks worth in a day. Also it is pretty quiet just a hum like a desk top computer fan running.
