Product works well and shoots the darts with a little heat behind them so you get a good distance. Only thing that would make it better is if it had more weight and you could smack stuff without breaking it. It is really light and not made for smacking

Gave as a gift to my 5 year old nefew. He loved it and I honestly enjoyed "trying it out". Fun and will keep him entertained for a while. Hammer lights up from blue, red to green. Bullets shoot out of the top in the middle.

I acquired this dart-blasting toy through Vine.I was interested in the product as a gift for my son.We have plenty of other dart-shooting toys and I thought this would be a nice addition.It is a nice addition given the novelty of it.I mean, it isn't a pistol or crossbow... it's a hammer!It has the same sort of pull to cock action, then pull the trigger to shoot.On this hammer, you pull the bottom of the handle down/out to cock, then press a button to shoot.Unlike the other pistol types, this one is a little hard to aim.It should go without saying, but there aren't any sights on it.You just hold it parallel to the floor, just like Thor would, either at waist height or with your arm fully straight and pointed at your target, and press the button.Also unlike the other types, it takes a little getting used to. By that I mean, a couple of times I would hold the handle tightly while trying to cock it, and then accidentally be holding down the button at the same time. It's something that I don't think I ever did with the traditional pistol types.Along with the Thor and lightning theme, this hammer glows. There's a power switch, battery compartment, and what appears to be a speaker.I thought it might make sounds but as of this writing I'm not hearing anything.Not upon impact, not when loading, not when firing.Lightning sound effects would be cool.

The shield looks like captain americas shield, and my 7 year old son loves it. When you open it up, its half collapsed- its collapseable and expandable- my son loves slapping it open and slamming it half closed. It has an attached dart blaster, and it comes with 20 foam darts and a cardboard circular dart board for target practice. This was one of my sons christmas presents, and a month later he is still playing with it on an almost daily basis. What i like most about it is it is very durable- my son is ROUGH on toys, and most of them are dropped, tossed, and smashed to pieces within a week or two. This shield and dart blaster is still in perfect condition a month later, which can NOT be said for a few toys that he also got for christmas. I love that its durable and well made, and my son absolutely loves that its a shield AND dart gun all in one.
