Does exactly what it says on the tin 😀
Added a nice top surface coat to wood, with a slight shine, and textured to touch. Also good applied to furniture painted with chalk paint.

OK But........
Painted cabinets with Johnsons cabinet paint which cam up well. Could not get brush marks out with the varnish cover. Best way I found was One coat with a brush, tok off each door and drawer front, laid flat. Diluted 20/80 with water which gave a smoother finist

This is a very high quality clear lacquer. It will not yellow over time . Dries quickly

Color not as described, way too light. Stuck with paint I cannot use. Very disappointed.

Annie Sloan and most DIY people make it look so easy… just brush it on. Not so easy and very difficult to do on a larger piece of furniture.
