Overall, candles are fine but the cups they come in are PLASTIC. I reread the product information and do not see that mentioned anywhere.I will be removing these from their cups, and using them in a glass container because I do not feel safe burning them in the plastic cups provided. If these were for event, or outdoor use, I'm sure it would be fine. I plan on using them in a set of small indoor lanterns, and I don't want to risk the heat melting the plastic.The candles I received were easily removed from the cup. The only challenge is removing the wick from the bottom, it is attached with a small bit of adhesive.

These votives are lovely. The purple cups are the perfect compliment to the glow of the white candles. (They are also super convenient as built-in candle holders, especially when used on a tabletop). As promised, the candles are slow burning and a great value. Perhaps the best comment I can make about any Amazon product is: "Exactly as advertised." What you see is what you get . If you want a nice set of votives, this is it!

My wife and I are very happy with the wonderful votive cups and candles. They burn perfectly, are attractive and come packaged in a strong storage carton. This Bolsius set of votives are a second order I placed with you some time back. When the time comes for another carton, I'll get right on the internet to you. Thanks also for great service!

I buy these candles they last a long time and I think the price is pretty good however I live in South Florida and my order came half unusable because the wax shifted and the wicks disappeared. Half were unusable so if you like these candles just wait till it cools off a little more before you order. Also I will suck up the loss this time because I should not have ordered candles in August . The pic show good wicks on left and the disappearing wicks on right. I might put these in sun this am and try to push the wax back down to reveal the wick once again. If you need me, I’ll be working on this for the next couple days.....

These candles burn a good long time as advertised. In size, they are probably the equivalent of 3-4 tea lights (stacked about adds up to about 3 and then just a bit wider). They are fragrance free as well. The only drawback, and it is not a showstopper, is that the container they are in is plastic. Thus far, the flame has not affected it at all and the residue from lighting the candle using a long multi-purpose lighter comes right off. I do feel you get good value for the money.

These Bolsius candles, like their other varieties are excellent. They are in plastic, not glass. But we’ve burned them in an outdoor lantern until they were exhausted — and no problem. The plastic did not distort or melt. I’m more careful indoors but they are long-burning, bright, smokeless, and an excellent value.

I bought these to use in flower pot heaters. They leaked all over the place and smoked and STUNK so bad I had to blow them out. I'll stick them away sometime maybe to use outside, but glad I didn't buy more than I did. Now I will shop for proper glass ones and use palm oil or soy versions.
