Great and Comfortable Shoe, Could Not Be Happier
Purchase: I bought this pair of shoes because I needed shoes for my trip to Pinnacles National Park and I knew that they have rocky and steep trails. I used to be an avid runner and have used Saucony products for quite a bit and have never been let down so it was a safe choice. When ordering the color options are good but more importantly the size chart offered was accurate to the actual shoe. Overall Purchasing Experience: 9/10Unboxing: It was a straight forward unboxing process, they were properly secured as expected and there were no weird smells as some companies have when purchasing new shoes. Overall Unboxing Experience: 10/10Usage: Upon first putting on the shoes they fit quite well, the shoes felt sturdy yet flexible, the laces felt nice, and there wasn't any pinching around the top of my foot as some new shoes do before breaking in. Another plus side is the fact that even before breaking in the shoes, they were still very comfortable through the hikes I did, specifically High Peaks in Pinnacles which is a strenuous hike so kudos to the shoes, after the shoe does break in it only elevates the comfortablility. After all these 4+ hour hikes, there was no pain in toes, ankle, arch, or palm of my foot. The grip was great as well as climbing through rocks felt secure ans sticky (in a good way). I am extremely impressed with the shoe's comfort and grip and will buy a new pair after these fail. Overall Usage Experience: 10/10

Great shoe for a picky husband!
My husband is SO picky when it comes to shoes. He broke his ankle a few years ago, and he's been so picky about footwear ever since. He likes the support that these shoes provide. He works on his feet all day long, and these shoes are not only comfortable, but they also hold up well. His last pair lasted for nearly a year. That's a long time when you wear them for about 12-14 hours per day every day. We were very impressed with the quality, and he loves the comfort. I'm happy about the price! These are cheaper than many other shoes of the same quality that we have tried.

Light weight super comfortable shoes
No break in period. Very flexible, light weight, great support shoes. Lots of toe room too (I got the wide size). I have many feet issues but these are perfect. Flat with no slant toward the toes (which is perfect for me). Don't pinch, don't press anywhere. Will be buying them again for sure.

Great Shoes, Wrong Color
I bought these shoes at the last minute for a hiking trip. They were delievered quickly, on time, and performed much beter than I anticipated. They were comfortable for all-day hikes, had penty of grip, and within a few miles I was comfortable scrambling up slippery rock faces witht them. Unfortunaty, what was shipped was the wrong color, in fact, the color that was shipped isn't even an option. I requested an exchange, and a new pair was shipped that day....but again what was shipped was the wrong color. 4-stars only because they couldnt get the colors right.

Not comparable to higher end trail runners
Look nice, but not for trail running in my opinion. Wider toe box may be good for people with very wide feet. I have average width feet and these (in the standard fit not wide) allow too much movement in the toe box to support running or gym. I (and my son) found the footbed and insole to be hard and not formed well. Arch support is lacking and the foot bed felt lumpy, if that's a thing. I have owned many high end trail runners having used them for many years in the mountains and in the gym...Merrill, Saucony, ASICS, Nike, Solomon, and a few of the climbing brands. Most perform above average to great. These were unfortunately not a good fit for us. I will say event the rubber felt hard and slippery on wet surfaces. I wore them a few days to break them in and give them a chance to form more to my foot...no luck.

Fantastic Alternative To Hiking Boots
Bought these because I love my current running/walking Saucony shoes. I needed a hiking shoe that wasn't like a hiking boot. I wanted to use these on the trails near my house. Nothing too expensive or fancy. As I expected, the shoes are perfect for my needs. This pair fits perfectly and are very comfortable. My feet are small and slightly wide and it's usually very difficult to find shoes that fit. I tried them on and they were what I needed. We took a trip to Utah's parks including Arches and Bryce Canyon. We did a lot of hiking up rock trails where the surfaces were sandy or slippery. These shoes gripped the rock surfaces really well. I felt confident walking in them. The only time I slipped was due to my own misstep. They are cool temperature wise as we hiked in 93-degree weather.A great pair of hiking shoes!
