Not effective for us
Seems more a gimmick than anything else. Did not work in repelling cats more than a couple times before they ignored it.

not worth the money
While the unit scans the area well and self charges - it doesn't work. At all. The wind will set it off and rabbits, deer, dogs - whatever - they aren't deterred at all by the lights or sounds. Great idea that doesn't work.

Effective for Deer
I had a family of deer snacking on our flowers and got these devices to see if they would deter them. So far so good! My nightly visitors have not come around since I installed these. It's only been a few nights, but it has worked so far. Also, I noticed that larger animals that have been around (foxes, raccoons) have also been scarce.
