So much fiber!
These are quality seeds, and easy to add to smoothies for a quick and important source of fiber to your diet. They blend easily, there is no grit or taste in your smoothie and I buy these on repeat!

Basil seeds- the new Chia....
I’ve been using Zen Basil seeds for a while now, and I’ve come to genuinely enjoy them. They have a clean, mild taste that blends easily into smoothies, yogurt, or even just a glass of water, and the texture becomes pleasantly gel-like without feeling heavy. They are very fresh. Lasts a very long time. Beyond the taste and versatility, I’ve really noticed the difference they make in digestion — they’re gentle, soothing, and leave me feeling balanced. They are a little expensive, but an overall good product. Another meaningful advantage for me is that Zen Basil seeds are certified Kosher. Overall, they’ve become a small but steady part of my daily routine, and I’ve been consistently impressed with how helpful and easy they are to incorporate.

Yummy way to up your fiber!
Love love these basil seeds! Great way to add fiber to my diet. I use in smoothies, sprinkle on eggs at breakfast or on salads/ soups . I also just dump a few teaspoons into my water that I drink throughout the day! No taste unless you bite into them.

Good quality basil seeds. But don't give up your CHIA seeds
These basil seeds from Zen Basil are good quality and the nutrient profile is good. They are easy to incorporate into our diets in smoothies, etc. Unlike chia seeds, they don't have to be soaked before consuming so that makes them easy. But don't get rid of your chia seeds yet because they each excel in different nutrients. I chose to include 1 tablespoon each chia seeds and basil seeds daily. Basil seeds are higher in fiber, but both are excellent sources. Basil seeds are higher in certain polyphenols and calcium, but both are excellent sources. Chia seeds are higher in Omega 3 fatty acids (ALA) Both have similar protein profiles. Basil seeds are a simple food so it's an easy choice to buy them. However, please be careful of claims made by certain people and just consume them for their stated nutrient content and not questionable promises found online.

Best brand, organic and consistent excellent quality
The quality and amount for the money can’t be beat. Avoiding lectins in chia seeds, I switched to basil seeds. So glad I did. I make a pudding with 1/2 cup room temp water and two tablespoons of basil seeds. Top with frozen fruit, cover and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning, add two tablespoons of yogurt and stir. Provides lots of fiber and a surprising amount of nutrition like omegas and more. I tried another brand first but this one, especially being organic, is far better. Excellent for those with constipation.
