Blackout Rainbow Window Film

This stuff is amazing! Was the perfect solution to get some privacy with these little windows. Had to be careful cutting, but it looks great!!! And still lets in the light.

This was so easy to install and the results are great, the colors when the light hits it directly are gorgeous and no one can see in, and it still looks great at night I recommend a bigger sprayer to make installation easy

It’s beautiful! I wish it came on a grid paper to make for easier cutting but it is stunning. As an ADHD instant gratification an no time to measure twice it serves well for my windows. The light coming through is beautiful. Moderately easy to apply if you’re patient.

This looks absolutely beautiful! I bought it so I could move the blinds because my cat was destroying them. Application was way easier than I expected. However, days later I noticed tons of bubbles. On a regular basis, I don't notice the bubbles so it doesn't bother me. You can see out if you walk right up to it. Otherwise it's just blurry. Of course, when the sun hits it, there are really pretty rainbows.

I love you so much I want to put them on every window in my house Not only do they give me extra privacy but they're absolutely beautiful and when the sun hits it just right prism shoot all over my wall! Super easy to install. Just make sure you're read the instructions first! I got two rolls for my kitchen window and have some left over.

These window clings are amazing. We started with just one sheet and putting it up in our bedroom to block out a street light that hit our bed. Even with our blinds fully open now our room feels super dark at night and the street lights don't bother us anymore. We had some extra after that, and decided to put some on the panels on the back door. We couldn't leave it at that and decided to buy two of the large sheets to finish covering the back door (minus one pane for pets to look out, and a pane for humans to look out), and the big window in the living room(minus a small amount for the pets again). At the end we finally decided to just go full send and buy one more of the large sheets for the kitchen, the office, and the laundry room. Suffice to say, we've installed a few of them and we really really like them. As for installation it's very easy just use some glass cleaner to make sure it's clean cut it mostly to size spray some water on take off that backing and chuck it on, and then get as many air bubbles as you care to out (it's not hard to get them all, especially with a squeegee and lifting a corner a few times, but I found it hard to care personally). After that just take a box cutter or a knife to the edges that aren't up to your standard, and boom you've got a beautiful window cling that'll produce rainbows if you have some direct sun! The photo show most of our installs, plus some of the photos from the outside. Don't currently have any photos of night time, but even when it's pitch black outside and the lights are on full blast inside, you cannot make out more than general shapes unless you get your face directly up to the window, and even then you struggle to make out things further than a few feet past the window (and your face is clearly displayed to anybody looking at the window). It does work the other way as well though, so it is difficult to see outside which is why we left some gaps. As someone who cares a lot more about the heat and light, these are perfect! The privacy is still really good too, and if that were my primary focus I wouldn't be disappointed. When we first got some, we got an email directly from the manufacturer making sure that we had received it and that it was up to our standard. Absolutely lovely experience from beginning to end and we're leaving these up until wela move from here, when we will happily take them down and try to put them up and fit them where we move next

I live on the first floor in an apartment complex and I love keep my blinds open for all the natural light! However, sometimes it feels weird knowing people can just see in. So I bought these (actually a repurchase) and still love them so much!

I ordered the multicolored. It said there would be supplies to apply it but there were not. I’ve done this before though and just used what I had on hand and applied it (left square). I wanted to make sure I liked it before getting more. There’s not much privacy, but I was willing to just deal with it because it skews it enough for our dining room that I can have the curtains open without letting the whole neighborhood see straight in. I ordered the second roll (the EXACT same thing) and it came with all the supplies listed. However, when I put it up (right square) I noticed there was a lot more privacy. I even asked my kids without letting them know they’re different which one was harder to see out of or if they were the same and all four of them said the right side was harder to see. It’s the same way from the outside looking in. Unfortunately I’m going to need at least one more roll to complete the entire project. I can’t send it back because it’s already been cut up and placed on my windows but I’m extremely disappointed in the whole situation. The quality is good, but getting two different rolls and one with way less privacy just isn’t the best..

Zunächst einmal war ich vor dem Bestellen sehr irritiert, dass einige Rezensionen den Halt der Folie kritisieren. Bei dem Preis habe ich trotzdem zugeschlagen und es nicht bereut. Wichtig ist, dass keine Seifenlösung sondern eine Lösung aus Wasser und NEUTRALREINIGER verwendet wird. Durch den NEUTRALREINIGER (ich habe den günstigsten bei Edeka gekauft) kommt es zu keiner Schlierenbildung. Außerdem ist es wichtig die Glasscheibe vorher ordentlich zu reinigen und zur Not auch mit einem Ceranfeldkratzer grobe Verunreinigungen zu entfernen. Danach sollte die Scheibe mit der Lösung großzügig benetzt werden --> das erkennt man daran, dass die Folie sich auf der Scheibe bewegen lässt. Danach muss von innen nach Außen die Lösung herausgedrückt werden. Ich habe dafür einen Duschabzieher genommen. Wenn man das ordentlich macht, dann lässt sich die Folie nicht mehr verschieben. Mit einem Cuttermesser habe ich danach die Enden abgeschnitten und nochmal alles schön mit dem Duschabzieher bearbeitet. An einer Seite wollte die Folie tatsächlich nicht halten. Das lag daran, dass diese bei der Lieferung auf einer Rolle aufgerollt wird und die Folie sich am Ende leicht gewölbt hat. Als Lösung habe ich die Enden auf die andere Seite vorsichtig geknickt wodurch die Folie dann wieder gerade war. Danach konnte ich diese problemlos befestigen. Übrigens lässt sich die Folie prima alleine anbringen und man hat mehrere Versuche, falls irgendwas misslingt oder man dennoch Dreck an der Scheibe finden. Die Folie ist wunderbar blickdicht aber trotzdem lichtdurchlässig. Zum UV-Schutz kann ich leider wenig sagen.

Artikel wie beschrieben. Das Anbringen ohne Luftblasen ist nicht ganz einfach, ich habe es schon bei mehreren solcher Folien nicht ganz ohne geschafft, störte aber nicht weiter. Vielleicht fehlt mir auch einfach die Geduld für perfektes Anbringen. Aber das liegt an mir, nicht an dem Produkt. Wenn möglich, besser zu zweit arbeiten. Es kommt wirklich viel Licht durch, ohne dass es durchsichtig ist, und die Regenbogen-Farbeffekte sind sehr nett.

When I received this, I initially had misgivings as to how much privacy they would actually give, since the film looks clear when you open it. I was afraid that if I cut the film to try it on my windows, I wouldn't be able to return it if it didn't give me the privacy I wanted. The company contacted me to check I had received my purchase safely, and they reassured me that I could try out the film, and that if not entirely satisfied, they would accept a return and give me a full refund - you can't ask for more than that! I was very pleased with the end result. I could say that the film gives at least 90% privacy. Someone would have to press their face up to the glass to try to peer in and even then, they wouldn't be able to see much. The colours you can see when sunlight hits the film are absolutely beautiful - I often catch myself admiring them throughout the day. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this seller and product.

Love the look of it. Instruction was clearen enough and I could install it pretty easily. Love the way it looks.
