Great flooring underlayment
I used this as a flooring underlayment for just about a quarter inch thick rigid core vinyl planks. I stuck it to my plywood subfloor with double sided carpet tape (long process) and ultimately switched to staples. The staples don’t dent it as it is firm but not hard underlayment. It makes the floor quieter, but my main reason was for floor thickness as I wanted the thinner vinyl to be closer in thickness to my already installed bathroom and laundry room tiles. It is really working great so far. FAST delivery and goes down pretty easily. Does require some vacuuming as cutting causes debris that interferes with tile installation. It is a really great product.

Good Product
This was the easiest underlayment I have ever used. Rolls out well, cuts easily and was done in no time. Doesn't have bad curl everywhere like some of the other brands I have tried, though the inner ends do need a day or so to straighten out. I would use again but make sure it is securely attached to the subfloor. I had a few areas where it wasn't, and I didn't think it would be a big deal, but now the tiles are moving slightly and the grout is cracking in that exact spot. Everywhere else is fine, so I suspect its my fault.

Great! (except for the ends)
This is seriously good stuff. Pretty easy to work with, except for the end of the roll - which predictably wants to curl up. You'll need something heavy to flatten those pieces out - say, big long boxes of hardwood. Otherwise, the sound and temperature absorption have been fantastic (ranch style house, concrete slab, engineered hardwood).

Exceeds Expectations
We used this as the top underlayment layer over plywood (which was over a vapor barrier which was over wood and concrete subfloors) for floating engineered hardwood flooring. The results have been fantastic. Floor temperatures don't go to such extremes in winter and it is the quietest wood floor I've ever walked on. The combination of a floating floor on the cork board makes the surface feel soft and very comfortable to walk on. We have not run into any issues so far and installation was a breeze. The only downside I can think of is the strips of cork board break quite easily during installation, especially around the edges. This is not a major issue though since you won't see it and the bits that break off are small.Bottom line - exceeds expectations and we'll certainly use this again.

Great cork for a lot of projects!
I would have given more stars if I could have. I used this to cover wood for easier jewelry display in a store. Worked fabulously! This much 1/4" cork for $75?!?!?!?! It's a crazy good deal. Easy to cut. Easy to glue down. Easy to pin into! My alternative was to go to a craft store and (even with a coupon) pay 3 times as much for 1/2 the thickness. This was Perfect!

Product Shrinks
I used this cork roll to transform my chalkboards into bulletin boards in my classroom. The size and price was optimal for this use. I used proper adhesive and followed the temperature guidelines. HOWEVER, this product shrinks! The cork shrunk enough that it pulled itself off the wall and required a second adhesion. It is perfectly stable now and is holding well to the wall. There is a cm to an inch gap all the way around where it was installed to fit snug. Overall, I would recommend the product.

Works great
I really underestimated how huge four feet would be; it's huge! It's perfect though. I use it for making pinboard displays and it's the perfect thickness so I don't have to double it up like my old cork. I have to bring my cutting mat onto the floor to cut it into more manageable sizes but buying in such large bulk really cut down the costs so it's not a big deal.

highly recommend doing this to protect the wires of the mat ...
I bought this cork for underlayment prior to installing a heating mat in my basement bathroom floor. Before and after install made a huge difference in floor temp. The cork by nature is a bit brittle, so don't be too rough on it when laying it out and cutting to shape for your space. I wasn't too concerned about making a "perfect" fit because after installing my heating mat, I used a self leveling compound to fill all gaps and encase the heating mat...highly recommend doing this to protect the wires of the mat prior to installing tile (bathroom floor in my case). The ends of the roll, even when cut to shape, have a tendency to want to roll back up, so make sure you have some boards pre-cut to length and weights to help the ends adhere to the adhesive if you are going to tile. This is not needed if you are going to install a floating floor, such as laminate or carpet. Cutting was easily done with a sharp utility knife. I butted the clean edges of the cork to form a seam and put the cut edges along the walls. I would suggest that after cutting and fitting the cork to your space, roll up the pieces half way and then apply your adhesive. Lay that side down and manipulate as needed, then repeat with the other side. Roll out the cork or just walk around the floor using your weight.Highly recommend this product if you are doing a large area...if you can find the square pieces at a decent price, that may work better for you in small areas due to the cork being somewhat brittle if you are too rough with it.

Great product.
I used modified thinset to attach it to my basement floor. Worked like a charm. Was dry the next day. I had no issues with the cork, no flaking or breaking. The most important, no off-gasing you have with glue. Of course you have to weigh down the edges. Satisfaction is the word.

good quality, fast shipping
We ordered this product on Oct. 27 and it arrived in good shape on Oct. 29th. It is the correct thickness which was really important as we are lining it up with 1/4 inch cork that we already have. Glad we took a chance on this one.Cheers!

Good value compared to hardware stores and free shipping is ...
High Quality material, cuts well but somewhat brittle which can cause unwanted tearing.Pros: Good value compared to hardware stores and free shipping is a bonus.Cons: Tends to retain shape after unrolling, somewhat difficult to keep flat. Limit of three per customer is a pain, needed to ask friends and family to buy enough.

shipped really quickly.
This arrived really quickly. It is light enough that I was able to carry it up four floors to my apartment. I used it as main flooring in my bedroom. I didn't want to pay a lot for new flooring, or thick carpeting, but I needed to do something to try and block out my downstairs neighbours noise. I applied a few coats of polyrathane first ( so that I can wash it), and then I installed it like a carpet. I only used removable caulking along the walls to keep it in place. I was looking for a temporary solution that would not damage anything in the apartment because I'm renting. Carpeting would have cost more. I'm satisfied with this, I can reuse it wherever I go.
