After extensive research and comparisons, I chose the REDTIGER F17 dash cam for its balance of features especially being a 3 channel dashcam . Having used it for several weeks, I'm impressed with its performance and reliability. High-Quality Video Recording: The F17 captures clear and sharp footage in both daylight and nighttime conditions. License plates and road signs are easily discernible, which is crucial for any driving incidents. User Interface: The setup process was straightforward, with intuitive menus and controls. The included instructions were clear, requires a bit of improvement according to my needs but still does the job well. Loop Recording and G-Sensor: These features work seamlessly, ensuring continuous recording and automatic saving of footage during sudden impacts or movements. When set the sensor to extremely sensitive it got the rubbers on the road as an impact. Impressive. Design: The dash cam's a bit bulky as compared to others on the market but it is unobtrusive and doesn't obstruct the driver's view, maintaining safety and aesthetics. Field of View: While adequate for most situations, a slightly wider angle for the camera facing the cabin would provide more comprehensive coverage which could show the window from driver side to the window of front passenger. App Connectivity: The companion app offers useful features was hoping it could be as simple as home CCTV camera app functionand be ableto use when not in the vehicle. Memory capacity: As provided in the box have not yet expanded as I find what is available is more than enough. Battery life: I've hardwired the cam to the car and so the dash cam will go into sleep mode and is continuously running for 24 hrs till cut off. Screen: the screen is big enough to see everything comfortably. Not Touch screen and not required to be either. Heat Resistance: Observed when I kept the car out in the hot sun that the dash cam was not operating to to high temperature but it was still recording. Overall review 5/5 will definitely get one for my other car.

I researched dash cams for years. I became paralyzed by the vast array of options and prices. I decided to go with RedTiger due to their quality advertising and other reviews, and they happened to be on sale. The traffic in the Phoenix area grows increasingly aggressive and I felt an urgency to protect me and my wife in the event of an accident. I purchased two of these, and I could not be more pleased. I am 68 and was able to able to easily install both in one day completely by myself. One in a Prius and the other in a Dodge Journey. Each came with both the front and rear facing cameras. I initially worried that hiding the cable over the length of the vehicle would be problematic, especially with both cars having hatchbacks, but it was super easy with the tools provided. I am very pleased with the clean installation, wires and cameras barely visible. The quality is outstanding! From the very beginning, you are presented with high quality packaging, superbly protected products, and well thought out designs. RedTiger includes tools, guidance, and documentation necessary to be 100% successful. Functionally speaking, once installed, I started the car, drove off, and afterward, checked the video. Quality was amazing and the app blew me away in the playback mode. It shows the position of the car on a graphical map with direction, speed, etc. as well as the hi def video. It is a small investment in money and effort for a tremendous amount of peace-of-mind. As long as the car is on, it is recording front and back. It automatically replaces the oldest recordings with the newest, so you only have to retrieve them when the need arises. It comes with a 32GB card. I'm not sure how many days of videos that will hold, but I'm certain it will easily meet my needs as I only expect to retrieve them in the event of an accident. If you are on the fence about getting a dash cam, don't wait until it's too late. RedTiger is a winner.
