WESTERN RISE Versa Men's Hat. Packable, Waterproof and Stretchy Designed for Maximum Versatility

This Versa hat is my introduction to the WESTERN RISE brand and I'm really happy with it!I know that this hat is marketed for men but I was drawn to its minimalist design and decided to give it a try. For reference, I am a woman with a small head (size 6 3/4 in hats) and always have trouble fitting caps, even adjustable ones because they're too tall for me. This Versa hat fits me really well! I think that the stretchy material makes it shallow enough for my small head and the adjustable clip makes it easy to get the perfect fit. It's really comfortable to wear.I really like the look of this cap. I chose the "Black" color. I love the neutral monochrome styling. I really appreciate that this hat does not have any overt branding - it has a small and tasteful rubber logo on the back.Aside from this hat's looks, it is very functional. I have a very fair complexion and live in the high desert, so sun protection is a must for me. This hat does a good job of shielding me from the sun and its packable material makes it very easy to stash in my purse.

I needed a new hat for my morning runs and this perfectly suits the job. I was previously using a normal canvas snapback, but I started breaking out around the top of my forehead from the sweat build up. Not to mention the smell… But this hat solved that problem right away. It’s incredibly light, comfy, and made of the same material as the rest of my workout gear. Its already become my go-to hat for workouts and hikes and being waterproof it will for sure come in handy during the rainy seasons. My only complaint is that it arrived slightly creased on the front, but I'm assuming that will go away naturally with enough wears.

I generally go through hats quickly because they get sweat stained from working out.I bought this much more expensive hat because the advertising said it was sweat stain proof.It’s not.After only a couple weeks of use it’s stained, and spot washing didn’t help.

The edges of the hat kind of fold over into the bill. It would be nicer if it was a cleaner fold to be honest. I lie the weight and the sizing though. For $70 I think it should have really clean lines and the folds make it look a bit frumpy.

I like this hat because it’s very lightweight and stretchy. The stretch allows you to adjust it so it’s tight, but not too tight where it hurts your forehead.I have some other hats that are 100% cotton and they hold in the heat. I like that this hat is breathable.I appreciate the UPF sun protection and the fact that it’s waterproof. I also like the wide brim for sun protection.
