Crunchy and flavorful!

I was looking for roasted cacao bean. Tastes are good and small packs. Super foods . I will buy again.

Cacao is grown in Belize, then shipped to North Carolina. The maker roasts the fermented cacao beans in North Carolina & makes chocolate. These beans are packaged in a way that they stay fresh. These roasted cacao beans are a great snack! Highly recommend.

These beans were bitter, covered in an icky shell and eating them was not the chocolate flavor I expected. I ate about one half a package and threw out the rest.

I wanted to grind these and mix them with my coffee while brewing. I think these would work better with drip brewing, but I use an Aeropress and I’m having trouble getting a grind that works. While I still have big chunks, I also have cocoa fine powder that makes it very hard to press. It is also possible that my grinder is a factor. These may be an excuse to buy a better quality grinder.

These have a better flavor and texture and natural feel to them than any cocoa (cacao) nibs. Especially don't get the non-roasted "organic" raw nibs. Gross! These whole, roasted cacao beans are great! Especially delicious when mixed with honey.

Perfect for my alternate Passover seder plate.
