Vibro Sound Deadener for Automobiles -1/4" Waterproof Sound Deadening Mat, 9 Large Sheets of our Car Sound Deadening Material, 100% Made in USA not RUSSIA or CHINA!

Used this over their 2mm material as they suggested. I ordered one box and about half way through I realized I would need a second box. (explained later.) Sticks very well and is pretty easy to work with. The large pieces makes the job go quick...provided you don't have a lot of irregular surfaces that require cutting and piecing. I'm using it on a 1975 Scout and there are many angles and weird shapes to work around. I did the floor and decided to use it on the dash panel instead of purchasing a normal Scout dash panel sound deadner. Makes the job a little trickier, but the product worked real well. Don't try to pull up a large piece once it's down...it will not be reusable. I intend to use it throughout the interior of the cab that's why I needed a second box plus with all the irregular surfaces I had to "waste" a couple to make the fit I wanted.

This is VERY easy to use and seems to work well. It cuts with regular scissors, sticks well to most surfaces and is easy to form around curves and bends. It also has a tough fiber reinforced base that makes it stronger than other pure foam products I have used. I added it on top of NVX sound deadening material and the combo works well. I don't know how well it works by itself (but will find out soon) or how it will hold up long term since I only installed it a week ago. So far I can recommend it.

Price was expensive only for just 9 pieces. Found out later that I could’ve went to Walmart and bought 50 pieces for the price of this.

Was leery about changing from my regular sound product. But this was great . Used it on the back hat shelf ,where weight will destroy the hat shelf. best of all . If your building a rade car where weight is a major consideration ,but you want to keep the noise of bare sheet metal down . This product weighs next to nothing.

I was trying to reduce the road noise on my 2010 Mustang. The nine sheet box will cover most of the trunk and trunk lid with the exception of the spare tire well. Its greatest positive is in the ease of application. The sound dampening has only been slight, as the Mustang is a fairly noisey car to begin with, but it has helped.The only comment to make on the negative side was in the instructions. Do not use the recommended laquer thinner or acetone to degrease the application surface as this will easily damage automotive paint. Use 91% alcohol (not 70%) avialable at any phamacy or drug store. Alcohol will not damage any of the painted surfaces.

I buoght this because it is made in US. It takes me time to install in my car so I may review this later. In fact, I installed Butyl Sound Deadening mat and the result is quite good already. I am looking forward to seeing the improvement this brings. The smell is the only thing that I concern. However, when I opened the box. I didn't get any smell. Unless I move my head in the mat and take a deep breath, yes I smell it....very little. I would recommend this to my friends if the sound proving effect is good.

Great product, easy to work with and adheres well. Think I've used 2 or 3 boxes for sound deadening and it works well. There are similar products, some a little less expensive, but I prefer Vibro since it's US made I know it's a quality product with no surprises.

This product is easy to use and to install. I currently have it applied to the lift gate of my Cadillac Escalade. Just a side note, if you need the holes for wiring loom clips to take a photo before removing them as once the material is applied you will not have any trace of where they are. The photo will be for a reference only.
