bought this after i had meater for a year, comes with all the bells and whisltes, promising to be a good product, i set it up based on the instructions and couldnt even pass one smoking session in my smoker without it disconnecting every few min, telling me to put the hub close to the probe even though it was less than 40CM away on the smokers shelf, sometimes the bluetooth DC and sometimes the wifi DC but all and all crappy product, dont be lured by the tech of it.

Excellent cooking tool. I have this and another famous wireless brand and they’re both great. The thing I like more about chef iq is its smaller; which makes it easier to use on smaller cuts of meat

ChefIQ feel Aus is not their market so their app isn’t available in the local store. You need to jump through hoops and change the store on your device to install. This triggers cancellation of local subscriptions in the store. Stick to other brands.

I’ve cooked chicken and pork chops. The chicken came out absolutely perfect and I would say 90% of the time prior to this I know it’s like hit or miss like it would be way too dry or it would not be cooked and I have to throw it back in I mean this just takes out all the gassy, and the chicken was delicious and so perfectly cooked The pork chops. Yeah they were good. They were good. It actually works now the downside to this thing, the Bluetooth charge part of it it’s kind of awkward like I had times where I would plug it in and like for whatever reason it wasn’t charged so I think you got it make sure you leave the thing plugged in and charging quite a bit before you ever want to get around to using the stupid thing. The second thing is it honestly, the Bluetooth part of it sucks right Because again it won’t reach to where I’m at so I have to go closer to the room to kind of check the temperature but the app on my phone does a really great job of guesstimating what time it’s gonna be done and then you can go close and get a more up-to-date Read from the Bluetooth so overall it works pretty dang well. I only got one probe and so far for what I’m doing. It’s worked great best chickens I’ve ever cooked. I’ve used it only twice now but both times the chicken or just whole chicken was perfect. The other thing that Connor got me is that the app had a recipe for a chicken that was like let’s Say 4 to 6 pounds and another one for 7 to 8 pounds and I would say every stupid chicken I bought would be like 6.5 pounds so I always be wondering which stupid recipe I should be clicking but most the time I would choose the 78 pound one anyways, it was great I wish you could’ve tried it, it is pricey, but since I was cooking for a group of people and believe it, or not as bad as a cook, as I am, there’s a lot of people depending on me for food it was worth every penny to all the people eating it
