I got this tarp for camping. It’s see through but not clear. The biggest problem I found that the holes on the border are not uniform so it became difficult to use during the camping.I was expecting better quality and thick so it’s not up to my expectations.

It's thick and sturdy with a woven fiber mesh in between but definitely not a clear tarp. This will work great as a windscreen since it's thick and it won't be flapping around with the slightest breeze. Plenty of grommets around it's perimeter and that will serve well while securing it to minimize flapping. The mesh will provide a bit of privacy while allowing plenty of light to pass through.

As the picture shows, this clear tarp is reinforced by a mesh grid of cord layered into the entirety of the tarp. The cording provides a great amount of strength against distortion of the plastic. The plastic itself is 'sorta' clear. It's not really see through but you can generally make out things through it depending how close or far you are from it. With use, the surface will get abraded and become more and more 'foggy' of course. I think the biggest benefit of it being 'clear' is that it lets a lot of light through in a more natural color than the glow behind a blue tarp for example.I've not used it enough to see how long it will hold up and under what conditions but it was a nice way to keep a little rain off my head when I wanted to be out on my deck but not feel like I was closed in by a roof. It was nice to not further restrict the overcast light that was in the sky. Best luck.~Cheers!

Tarp material is super-thin and leaked in several places. I have this on my chickens run for protection during the winter months. I just had a little rain shower the other night and found a handful of pin holes with water seeping through. If it wasn’t for the grids (which are basically those free tie-downs provided at the hardware store for securing your load) it would be trash. Again, it isn’t heavy duty, as it’s light duty. Don’t waste your money if you plan to cover a load for a haul. A heavy duty shower curtain is tougher than this tarp! Plastic cling wrap is stronger! Just saying!

Only up for about a week and started ripping. This is not what they say at all. Expect light to medium duty at best. I bought the 20’ x 20’ and shouldn’t have used it. Thank you

Very sturdy materials and is large enough for my greenhouse setup. A really good price for a well-made tarp!
