Awesome tent, great value, great design
I had been researching RTTs for a while when I cam across the ArcWonder RTT. I was impressed with the specifications and features (cargo bars, solar panel, integrated rain fly, shoe bags, ladder, all aluminum construction). With all of the features plus including the cost of the included cargo bars and solar panel (with included controller) it is actually one of the cheapest RTTs of it's feature set on Amazon. Such a great value versus price! Based on all those details I decided to finally order a RTT and I have not been disappointed. The RTT was shipped VERY fast and well protected in a substantial crate. I had to fabricate connection hardware due to the cargo bed rack on my truck being more substantial than most racks (was of larger dimensions than the connection hardware that comes with the tent: not the manufacturer's fault), but the tent was still very easy to install (lifting still requires 2 people). For how well built it is the tent is still very lightweight and at only 7 inches thick when closed it is such a low profile (looks way better than most RTTs and WAY less wind resistance at higher speeds). Overall the size is no larger than it needs to be to serve as a tent with enough sleeping space for two average sized people. The cargo bars and solar panel were super easy to install. The power provided by the solar panel easily charged my battery setup quickly (and there is actually plenty of remaining mounting space on top of the tent for an additional solar panel or cargo bars, if you choose). The tent is very comfortable (although the sleeping pad is a bit thin due to the slim nature of the closed tent), but I use an extra memory foam mattress (due much more to my body being over half a century in age than the comfort of the included sleeping pad ;) ). I've used the tent a couple times now and have zero issues opening or closing it (just be patient and close it slowly and make sure the flaps and rain fly are fully inside tent: this isn't a flaw with the design, but an good example of how excellent the build quality is and how tight the tolerances are in its construction). The tent has been through several intense rainstorms at highway speeds as well as deployed for camping in heavy rain. No water intrusion to speak of either closed or when deployed. And if you are an experienced camper you will know that you will get some few droplets of water here and there when the wind whips up or if you come into the tent with wet clothes. Not sure if the material used for the tent is antimicrobial/antifungal, but no sign of mold yet anywhere in the tent. VERY quick and easy deployment and stowage. Overall: -HIGHLY functional -VERY high build quality -EXCEPTIONAL value of included accessories -OUTSTANDING value overall I am VERY pleased with the purchase and capability of the tent. It certainly beats the stuffings out of a traditional tent, getting to the campground/site late, after dark and trying to fumble around and set up (often in the rain).

Great Durability, and Solid Solar Potential
This rooftop tent was one of my best purchases! Just a quick tip: don't try to mount this tent alone. You'll definitely want a minimum of 3 people or a garage hoist to handle the weight safely. โOnce it's mounted, the tent is a breeze to set up. It literally takes about 3 minutes to pitch and another 3 minutes to pack down, which has completely changed the way I camp. My wife and I just took it out for a 4 day camping trip across 3 different campsites, and it even survived a small windstorm without any issues. The interior space is very comfortable for both of us, with plenty of room left over for a small dog. There are also plenty of interior storage pockets and convenient places to hang fans and accessories. โOne thing to note is that it can get very dark inside, which is great for sleeping in. However, you'll definitely want to leave a couple of windows open so moisture doesn't build up on our 3rd day, I thought it was raining inside, only to find out it was just condensation! Also, just make sure to let it dry out completely before closing it up. โSetting up the solar charging side of things was a bit of a learning curve since I'd never used one before, and the instructions weren't the clearest. After doing some research, I ended up buying a separate portable power station with a built-in solar controller and limiter, and just skipped the controller that came with the tent. โOverall, an incredible setup once you get it dialed in. I would highly recommend this to anyone that's looking for a rooftop tent!

Best roof tent for the price when factoring solar panel
Good quality roof tent. Camped in heavy rain with no water intrusion. There is an additional vent over the rear/main entrance that is not shown in product photos, this would be good to know if anyone plans to use propane or butane heater in tent. I like that ladder can be positioned at any entrance. The solar panel is ok. It charges my bluetti 700w power station throughout the day but I do not get the advertised 218 watt output even in optimal sunlight. Youโll need an additional pad for the mattress as it is not that comfortable to sleep on. Donโt get one too thick or it wonโt close. I use an inflatable camp pad that I do not store inside tent when closed. I canโt even store pillows in tent but I donโt mind. I prefer to have a slimmer tent profile when in closed position The lights stopped working about 3 months after purchase. The seller was very responsive in sending me replacement lights. One thing to note is there is only 1 light setting which I love. I just need to quickly turn on and off the lights without cycling through several colors of lights before going into off setting. Several storage pockets on both sides of interior tent as well as ceiling making it easy to stay organized Would be nice if the tent had a 3โ diesel heater port but I canโt complain because the price is good The ladder does not have angled steps so going up and down barefoot is somewhat uncomfortable. The built in rain fly is more important than you would think. Camping in heavy rain makes it pleasant to have the doors open without water intrusion. During daylight hours , itโs pitch black in tent when all windows and vents are closed. Makes it nice to sleep in

So worth it!
First let me start with you need to teach everyone else how to package a product! Freaking epic! Delivered 5 days earlier than expected. Easy to install we have a 2023 Tacoma - installed a rack and rough country bed stiffeners to prepare for the tent. Required longer bolts to fasten around the rack. We are excited to venture out and see the great outdoors! Note the Jackery that we ordered is not here, still need to figure out the solar.

Works great & is really cool!
Finally got in this for a couple nights, it is SO cool. Tip on the solar - eBay has these Bluetti elite v2 1024 wh 1800 watts refurbished, warranty, way cheaper than elsewhere. LOT of wrong info posted, and little here re how to solve. Advise skip the controller - it regulates, and most power banks are regulating internally. Canโt do x two. So find something that can connect directly to the solar leads, but careful. Re amps & volts & watts. This is best bet: https://ebay.io/m/jih5Fz And, I found the last inch or so closing it to be really tough, but this works if you have the setup. Attacked to the outside of my bike rack, probly other options too

Love this Arctwonder Roof Top Tent
This is the best Roof Top Tent on amazon IMHO with features like the solar panel and included handwear make this roof top tent a fantastic value. I use it on my Ford Bronco Wildtrak with the Hooke Road Roof Rack. For those that have a garage with low celling like me, I built a storage cart to store and wheel into position for install and removal. see pics. Also used the packing sheet that it was shipped in as better reinforcement on back. I do have a hoist in my garage for my hard top removal so setting on the cart is a breeze, hope this help's all that are looking for a storage solution and for safely moving around your tent.

Well worth the money
I've used this tent for multiple outings from hot, dry high desert environments to chilly and wet coastal settings, all with no issues. As noted in some other reviews there's some nuances to closing the tent, but with continued use and practice it gets easier. The only "problem" I've experienced was only getting 1 of the luggage crossbars and ARCT sent another the day after I contacted them. Great product, great support. Get out there and enjoy the adventure. โ๏ธ

Damage on arrival
Looks like a great product but arrived damage. However I cannot get in touch with anyone to discuss replacement or fixing it. This damage creates a hole in the bottom and will leak water in if used
