King Size - Otis Haley 150 Futon Mattress

The size of the mattress is bigger than the spec by about one inch. Actual measure for king is 77 x 81.5 not 76 x 80. Not as firm as reviewed by other people, firmness is between firm and soft. So far so good. The mattress has no smell upon opening the box. Can be used from day one which is good.Except the size, so far so good. Will update the review after one year of use.

I was looking for a super firm mattress but am disappointed in the Otis Haley. The king size is so heavy and larger than a regular king that it's difficult to change bed linens. The edges stick up and it slopes inward even though it's resting on a flat hard surface.

This bed was as thick as described, high quality, and is pretty firm. I added a 2 inch memory foam matress topper to it (by the original makers of the memory foam), high quality pillows that fit my neck and shoulders, and I sleep so much better than before - I had a mattress that had become too soft. I put this on the king size box spring that I already had and its perfect.

Hailey 150 is the one of the best firm mattress I had expereinced so far. I have looked at many major brands but this one definately beats all the expetations. If you are looking for mattress which could help you for back pain, this is the one. You cannot go wrong.I have looked at Costco Sleep Science, Brentwood, Spa Sensations etc but Hailey Otis are best in the breed.
