Q: Is the material strechy?

Yes very, you can wrap them very tightly or loosely. This product has taught me how wrap my fists after two times. I really can do it without looking now if I wanted.

Q: Is this a reusable product?

Yes, this is a double woven cotton blend. You just wash & repeat. The instructions do wear off with use & wash, but once you get the hang of it you'll be alright.

Q: Would these be too big for a 5 year old? He complains that the ones from the gym hurt between his fingers

Shouldn’t be too big. If they are bunching too much around fingers just wrap around hand and wrist a few more times.
