Great feather weight water bladder insulator - highly recommend.
I have both the 3L & the 2L. I've used these to keep water bladders cool on trail runs and steep hikes in the heat in both Solomon Skin 12 tight fitting vests and in a Deuter Futura 26 pack. Both sizes performed perfectly in both packs. They are extremely light and insulate very well, The only complaint is also a benefit - because they are rectangular, they will fit any shape bladder, but that also means it doesn't fit any bladder perfectly so you have extra insulation material to fold over or pack down in some way. Regardless, it is so light and insulates so well that it is worth it. I highly recommend it for these reasons.

Made it through a bunch of training
I have a Deuter 3L but needed something smaller. This was much cheaper. I got the 2 L and used it to train for 3 marathons and I don't know how many half marathons.I run daily and carry a 1.5 or 2L Camelbak in a Nathan VaporHowe running vest. During Arkansas summers, I fill a bladder with ice and water and wear it while I but another bladder of ice water in my car. On a 20 mile run, I'd wear one until it melted and then switch to the fresh one to keep my back cool.In the cooler weather, I still like to have cold water, but I don't like having ice water against my back. This keeps the water from making me cold.Since this cost so much less than the Deuter, I don't mind folding it up in my running vest when I get hot.I lost it and am now ordering a new one, because I used it every day. Held up great. I doubt you're supposed to wash it, but it stunk and I did. (My fault for sweating so much)

Looks like what i needed
I just received this product and haven't had a chance to really test it but based on experience it looks like what I needed. I have been using hydration bladders for years and for years I have used camelback bags. It gets really hot here and I do like cold water so in the past I have made my own sleeves from aluminized bubble wrap. To be sure - that really works and it just takes a little patience to get the right fit. I have one in my 3 liter camelback Mule right now. But I wanted to be able to use a bladder with an older Duluth rucksack and my homemade jobs were not making the cut. I looked at the camelback standalone bag and it looked interesting enough for me to go to a local retailer and check them out. Very nice bags - not a good fit for my pack but I would have liked one as a back-up bladder when I lived in the desert. I also checked out the Deuter sleeve - its really nice and I use Deuter and Osprey backpacks so I was really interested. It was too big - I really needed a slim two liter sleeve. Just got this little guy today. My two liter bladder is a snug but appropriate fit and it is an exact fit for my old Duluth rucksack. I am going to give it a try tomorrow. The center location for the tube exit looks like it will work well but it looks like it will be easy to route the tube out the side if need be. For the cost - this looks like a good value. Our heat index today is 102 with high humidity so tomorrow will be a good initial test for me. As a side note - it is too large to fit in my camelback rogue that I use when biking. The rogue does a good job of insulation so I didn't need it for that application but I tried it anyway.

Worked great
These worked great! It kept things colder longer than just the pack insulation. The only thing I would change is round off the corners. It is sometimes difficult to get it into the backpacks.

Modified mine to fit a lumbar pack.
This is a well made bag that works well to keep your drink cool for hours. All the seams inside and out are finished with seam tape. It has three layer construction (canvas, foam, foil) as seen in this cutaway photo. Each side is about 3/16” thick. I modified mine with a sewing machine to fit into an Osprey Seral 7 lumbar pack with a 1.5 liter bladder. Mine doesn’t have the Velcro flap to close it up and just relies on the pack’s zipper. After filling up with ice cubes and water and zipping up the pack I checked it hourly to see how it worked. It still had the last bits of ice in it after 6 hours at room temperature, around 72F. The unmodified pack with the flap closure would probably work even better. Well worth it if you like your drinks cold.

Re-think
This bag needs a re-think on design and material. The "fly type" buttonhole to pull the drinking tube through is more of a pain than it is useful. The velcro on the closure flat is 10 times stronger than it needs to be. It ripped the insulation material off the bag on the first opening. I like the bag. It looks good. Just needs refinement.

Great Value For The Money!
I purchased 4 of these for the family, both 2L and 3L to cover our various sized water bladders inside our hydration packs for a hike in 100° weather. Application of the bag/sleeve around the bladders was super easy, and all fit well inside our packs.Water stayed cold and refreshing which was welcomed and needed! I also love that the package included visual aids showing what other uses these bags/sleeves can be used for. It sparked other thoughts for their use in the future.Things to note, completely removed the water bladders from our hydration packs, added ice, filled with water, then placed these bags/sleeves around the bladders, and re-installed into the packs. Less mess and less time spent overall. As a user test, I did not tell anyone I put these sleeves/bladders around the hydration packs, to see if they could tell a difference, and they all did. They wondered how the water stayed so cold, and awesome it was to have it that way in the heat. When I showed them the sleeves they were impressed! We love these so much, we've already recommended them to others.

High quality strong bladder sleeve
My existing hydration bladder was sustaining some damage due to equipment inside my pack that was rubbing against it. Ordered this bladder sleeve and I'm very happy with the product. For the price it is excellent quality. What I like about it:● Fabric feels like a heavy grade Cordura. It for sure is abrasion resistant.● Inside lining is similar to some of the soft ice coolers so there is plenty of insulation.● There is added padding to provide extra protection in addition to more insulation.● The 3 liter sleeve lets me just fit in my Source WXP 3L bladder - (shown in picture).Overall a great product and I'm buying an additional one for one my other packs. Highly recommend.

Works amazing !!
I bought the cooler and wanted the sleeve to keep water cold for our long hiking trips . It was 42 degrees with humidity outside and the cooler kept my water cold all day ! Plus I even still had ice in the bladder when I got back to the car . I did add 2 tiny ice packs just for extra caution to the cooler just in case . it definitely works !

Keeps my water bladder cool!
I used it today while kayaking and it kept my water cool even in the sun. Yes the Velcro may give up in the future but it is not a deal breaker for me. Happy with the purchase!

Work Great
I use it to keep my daughter’s formula cold all night. She’s tube fed and it works great! I only gave it a 4 star because on the 3 use the bag rip where Velcro is to hold closed. Thanks

Great idea poor execution
I bought this for my 100 oz Camelbak Crux but, it doesn’t fit. A cheaper 70 oz bladder from Amazon fits perfectly, which this review was drafted for. The material is heavy and thick enough to prevent any accidental punctureAlthough, the Velcro on the flap is stronger than the mylar it is adhered to. The Mylar tore immediately while trying to open. No problem as one won’t notice any real temperature loss or gain. The 3L cooler bag is too long for any of my packs that have a separate bladder compartment therefore have to sit in the main compartment with my gear Good thing all the condensation stays in the bag.
