I recently bought a whole kit for my hiking activity that includes various items and this bag pack as well. I have used 50L before which was too lengthy for me as I am 5.6 so was looking for a reasonable size and found this 40L was the perfect size for my height. Have enough pockets to store gloves, joggers and food cans as well, it has padded coverings inside so the food cans don't make noise. Overall a solid build, its a fabric cover from the outside but that is waterproof. At this size i guess the price was ok as the branded ones were expensive for me. If you are more than 6 then you might feel it as a normal office type backpag but for people height like me its the perfect size.l to carry stuff. So a value for money and does the work.
