Easy to install, with excellent image quality both during the day and night, along with motion detection and lights. This is the third security camera we've had from IMOU, all of which have exceeded expectations so far. The silver lining of this particular model being so good is that as well as having the extra security for the house, we also are able to keep an eye on nightly wanderings of the local foxes! Definitely money well spent!

This was easy to install, with excellent image quality for both day and night, along with motion detection and strong lights. The app has a really good set up with all the notifications and settings. Overall a great security camera at a very good price, very happy with it.

I bought the Imou 2-in-1 4K Outdoor Security Camera for £65 in October 2025. I was impressed by the quality of the pictures and the unit appears well-made. I think it was very good value for money and if there were no other problems I would have been prepared to pay twice as much for it and I would have given it 5 stars. However, there are two reasons why I am disappointed, both related to the App. I was very annoyed by the way that the app constantly tries to trick you into signing up for a monthly subscription to gain extra functionality. The only extra facility I need is the ability to download files from the SD Card and if I am to access them I need a ladder and a screwdriver to remove it and put it in my PC. It is not worth paying a monthly subscription for that. The other problem is the App itself; there are many features and options like the ability to watch live video, get notifications of movement, turn on the microphone and turn on a siren, the problem is that the app is poorly designed and it is very difficult to locate the features you need. This lets the whole product down and makes using the camera a frustrating experience. They have included an "AI Assistant" to help you find things but it is very limited. Having said that I would buy it again because it is good value and I am starting to get through the steep learning curve involved with using the app.

Impressive Device, the two cameras work independently but trigger simultaneously. The moving camera does not follow as smoothly as my other moving camera but it's still very good. It's the only camera that offers Vehicle Detection which is what I needed it for, but it picks up on parked cars constantly so I had to trim the Activity zone back to avoid parked cars - but anyone entering the zone is detected. The app is impressive, when triggered it records from a couple of second before making the recording more usable, and the app shows the triggering picture in a list, unlike my other camera which only give a list of times and starts recording when it is triggered. I bought this to replace a Bullet camera that was a few years old, having found that it's important to have a camera that is fixed on the whole area, so nothing is missed when the moving camera is doing it's job. Night Vision, clarity all very good, and good value. Not found out ow to connect it to Alexa yet. Two comments. The fixed lens does move up and down, only a small amount, the range is limited so don't fix it too high up. Not sure if the AI features add to it - I have tried the subscription version where the AI apparently is. but it's expensive.

It might be a good ish camera , and when I say (ish ) it’s because it’s build quality. It’s a bit loose but what bothers me the most is how they rob you for the functions it has! In order to have the AI function activated and obviously cloud storage the only option you have it’s a yearly 5 cameras plan at 140£ basic and 202,99 plus plan , I don’t have 5 cameras I only purchased 1 with 2 lenses , I need a plan for 1 device not 5 , it’s just disgusting how this type of people just rob you once you have purchased one of they’re products! Do your homework before you purchase such device or any other alike , the subscription plans don’t come advertised so I suggest you have a look at that before you buy!

Not often you get the burning urge to head back to Amazon and write a review but I am sooooo impressed! Moved home, bought 4 of these. Have two in place so far and I am very impressed. Very very simple setup and all linked back to my mobile phone. The App works well enough after spending some time playing with it. Human/Vehicle/Motion detection is all selectable and configurable for each camera and motion tracking for the movable cameras. Activity zones can discount the neighbors. Lights come on to alert the approaching person they are on camera. Smart Night vision is awesome up to 15-20m away. Phone alerts ping when activity is detected. I had a couple of guys installing a garden fence and one of them has asked about the cameras as he was impressed with the tracking accuracy. I currently have no reservations but am waiting to see how they deal with the weather through winter. Could be interesting after a few frosts. Will wait to see but so far, excellent product and couldnt recommend more highly. Update... as I become more familiar with the APP and finely adjust sensitivity/detection they just keep getting better. I only run these with 256Gb local storage in each camera, enough to record 2 weeks of continual 24/7 but you can set it to store "events" only, so your storage timespan could last years without overwriting depending on how many events trigger a recording. There is the option to subscribe to cloud service if you want but if you want a serious CCTV system with zero subscription, get these. Update: So we have been through a few frosts (down to -2 Brrrr!) and... ta da! Cameras still working perfectly! 2nd Update: Now had these cameras running almost 2 years - no complaints (apart from a rat that chewed through one of the cameras power cable)

Fantastic camera, really easy to set up, does exactly what it says. For the price i wasn't expecting such high quality, but I was pleasantly surprised.
