Needed a strap for traveling as the one my suitcase came with sometimes came open at inopportune times. This one is rock solid and made of metal (my other one was plastic). The only downside (and this was minor) was that when you open the buckle it falls to the floor since it’s not anchored to my bag. I’ve learned to manage that and it does exactly what it is supposed to do, so I’m very happy. The price was right, too.

Would have been great on my cruise. I had so many bags lol. Just wish there was a cute lavender color to match my suitcase sets.

This two pack of luggage straps works well to clip suitcases together and to add a bag onto another. They're quite heavy due to the metal buckle. I will say that I would trust this strap for long distances of clipping two suitcases together because it is very well made and sturdy.I don't like that they're so heavy, as I like less weight for carrying them around.The pattern is pretty, and the material is quality.I would recommend this product.

We took our first family trip on a plane this past week and these were life savers!! Packing for a family of 4 can be quite daunting and the idea of toting around 2 large suit cases, 2 carry-ons, a back pack, purse, and laptop bag all while managing a 2 year old and a tween through an airport is terrifying. We needed to have as many hands free as possible because my 2 year old son LOVES to run. As soon as I saw these straps I knew they were a must have item for our trip. They were easy enough to attach to the bags, I personally found it easier to either loop it through your larger bag first and lift the smaller bag up or to just strap them together once they're in the trunk of your car. The buckle is STRONG and I was confident our bags weren't going to separate as we ran about. The only issue I came across was unbeknownst to me the rental car place at our destination was across the street and only accessible by stairs or by walking a very long way around. Going up the stairs was no issues with the straps, but going down the stairs when we returned the car both of our carry-ons flopped over the side of our larger suitcases. No biggie with the product itself as it's not designed to completely attach the bags, but just something to be mindful of while travelling. These straps now permanently live within my suitcase so they don't get lost because I cannot imagine travelling without them now.

I ordered these straps thinking I could attach a smaller rolling suitcase to a larger rolling suitcase and it would just trail behind. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me because the smaller suitcase just kind of flopped around behind. I think it would need to be secured in two different places in order to roll correctly. Other than that, the straps are very well made and the buckles are super sturdy and secure so I think they would work well for other applications.
