This product is sweetened but not flavored, so it just tastes like faintly salty (from the electrolytes) sugar water, but NOT watermelon, grape, orange, mixed fruit, etc. I doubt dogs would mind the sweetness added to their food, and cats do not taste sweet well, if at all. I have been using this to great effect with my picky eater elderly cat who has Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) with chronic diarrhea. I just add some of this to whatever he's having. (I firmly believe feeding him raw meat/bone/organ has kept him alive, since his brother died of the same condition before I discovered raw feeding. I also add ground psyllium husk to help solidify his poop.) Anyway, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for rehydrating sick or chronically dehydrated pets.

Zinc is toxic to cats and this product didn’t have zinc. Mix up 1 packet in 1 cup of water. When dissolved, pour into ice cube trays with silicone so the cubes pop out. I put 2 cubes on 1.5 cup glass bowl, add filtered water. Wash daily because cats do not like dirty bowls. It’s a bit sweet. If I needed to be hydrated, I’d use this!

Great for dogs struggling to eat / drink

I got this for hot summer days for kids but they did not like the flavor and “feel” of the drink after adding the packet. It reminded me of pedialyte. Other than that nothing wrong with the product. My kids just didn’t like it.

Love these!!! My son got sick and I couldn't find anything like this in stores. While it was shipping I bought some flavored since that's all I could find and they were SO sugary. My son didn't like them. Once I got these in he took it no problem and it really helped!

Only 4 stars cos it’s a bit pricey to me. Yet, it is truly colorless and tasteless and my super picky 2 year old cant taste it. This is the only brand that he will drink of.

Had another review previous to my initial order with a good recommendation for pets. I have two senior dogs that as senior people do, lack drinking enough water. SO...instead of buying all the expensive and sugary electrolytes, this product works as it has no taste. AND now I carry a little pouch in my purse to add to water or supplement a drink when out shopping. Easy and efficient!
