Honestly I only bought these to see what colors might look good on me so I could find higher quality products later, and didn't expect much in the way quality, but I got to say I am impressed! I expected a far inferior product and was pleasantly surprised at the mid-grade quality (Compare to some nicer drug store quality make-ups).Pros: I have porcelain skin, and most of these colors are GORGEOUS, in my opinion!!! I suspect they will look good on fare to tan skin, and some would look great for dark colored skin. I have a lot of allergies to make-up, but I have been wearing "Moon" for hours and so far nothing. (That is not saying I will not have a reaction with continued use, but so far so good) They are light feeling on my lips and are not drying them out. The matte finish dries in a velvety finish, the kind of finish I expected really (Not great, but not bad) I did not try to wear any primer or chap stick under the lipsticks, so I am not sure if that would mess with the consistency at all. I had standard shipping and they arrived under a week, if that is a concern of yours.Cons: All colors are not made equal. Some of the colors I received are more pigmented than others. Most are mildly transparent, some so much so they are hard to work with, and need several coats. A few are very opaque only requiring one coat! So let's just be honest, there are consistency issues. Lets talk about smell, anyone sensitive to smell might not like the smell of these lipsticks wet, they smell like what I can only presume they intended to be chocolate..a very fake...very gross chocolate. No worries though, once they are dry I don't smell a thing!! The wands are not high quality, a bit hard to use in my opinion, lip liner recommended. I am not sure how much product is in every tube since I can't find that anywhere, but I suspect each tube will run out fairly quickly with regular use. One of the colors had a bit of product on the outside of the tube, and another looked like it spilled out onto the inside of the cap (luckily I didn't cry over any wasted product since it was the ONE color in the set I hated on me).I am going to upload the swatches on my arm, to give you an BETTER idea of the colors. I believe my phone didn't really want to show the distinction between some of the colors, but I assure you that ALL of the colors are distinct IRL, even though some look nearly identical in my picture. These came just as pictured and shipped as expected on arrival. No damage, no missing colors, no cracked / opened seals, nothing! Checked to be sure the colors were as expected and they matched the pictures near perfectly.They have a slight chocolatey aroma to them on application, which is pleasant for myself at least! They apply very smooth and can be manage like a blot or slid on like a gloss, depends on how you personally apply them. The color does hold up and is just as pictured, even on the lips! Very pigmented, and dry easily without feeling as if it's drying out my lips.The only issue I have had, personally, is that it won't hold if my lips are, at all, moist ( so say the inner-most area of my lips ). I'll always have a little line at the inner area of my lips that make an incomplete mouth coverage, but I think it's just me that's having that issue ( since my lips do a slight pout and that moist bit gets exposed after application ).The color is VERY long lasting! It will come off with warmth / moistness, so be careful when eating and drinking anything. It will smudge / peel if you rub at your mouth or forget it's there and happen to lick at your lips. HOWEVER. THE PIGMENTATION STAYS THE SAME! You'll have bits missing or the color smudged, but it's gon'a be just as vibrant!Overall these matte lipsticks were absolutely amazing for being my first to try out. Beautiful colors, beautiful application, and amazing pigmentation / longevity if managed correctly ( I probably just don't know enough about matte to have had the best results lol ).

I'm excited to have these lipsticks. I do wish they were more of a lip stain, but the do last a long time and through drinks and food. Though it will eventually wear off toward the inner lip that comes in most contact with food and drinks. So if you are planning to be away from home all day, then take the lipstick with you so you can touch up as needed. I have a hard time applying liquid lipstick, I prefer stick or solid lipstick. I've noticed with liquid lipstick that I don't get a smooth looking outline on my lips. Also, these colors are very bold, except for maybe 2 of the light colors, I like to apply and while it's still wet will blot off the excess several times with tissue paper. The nice thing about that is you can modify the intensity of the color from bold, to moderate, to light depending on how much you blot. I bought liner set that is identical to these colors, I figured out that I have to apply the liquid lipstick before I apply the liner... Because the liner I bought isn't long lasting, so when it wears off I noticed there's no lipstick under that line of I put the liner on before the lipstick.... That's a terrible look because it's obvious that not all of my lip is filled in. So I put the lipstick on before the liner.Overall I enjoy this set, but I have figured out that I like glitter shimmery lipstick... And I'm not sure I can find that in a long lasting form. Oh and the price of this set is great! So much cheaper than buying individually!

Initially, I really liked these liquid lipsticks. They smell wonderful, the colors are brilliant, and they go on smoothly for the most part. Some of the colors stay longer than others and don't wear off uneven. Others wear off quickly and become gritty and it's difficult to just wipe off if you're out and about. Tends to stain your lips/skin unless you can wash off quickly with soap and water. There are no names on the tube itself (only on the individual box it comes in), and the colors on the box don't match the tube IN the box, so it's difficult to keep track of which color is which. I will continue to wear some colors until they are gone, but probably won't buy this product again.
