premium electric cart - good value for the money
This is a sweet electric cart. Construction is really solid. Set-up and fold-down are simple, easy, and fast. The elastic ball straps work great to hold the golf bag securely; the bag does not rotate or shift at all. The accessories (cup holder, scorecard keeper with magnetically-latched cover, and umbrella holder with adjustable clamp so your umbrella doesn't lift-off when wind comes along) are just right. The remote is intuitive to use with practically no learning curve. There's also a rheostat knob on the cart handle so you can hold the cart and vary its speed, which is a nice feature for going up or down really steep hills. In fact, the cart helps pull you up a steep hill, which you'll really appreciate if you play a hilly course. The cart handles normal terrain fine--no issues really. The only caution is don't attempt very steep inclines (greater than 30 degrees) because the rear anti-tip wheel won't prevent the cart from falling over backwards in such cases. However it'll go down fairly steep grades straight down the fall line pretty well. Anyway, for the occasionally exceptionally steep grade, it's worth holding the cart and using the rheostat knob. Also worth noting is there is no latching brake like a purely manual cart has, so if you stop it on a moderate grade, it will roll very slowly, in which case a twig is enough to stop it or you can angle it to the grade enough to prevent it from rolling. The lithium battery is tiny and lightweight and lasts more than a round with no degradation during use. Lithium also presents no possible issues with outgassing when charging--charge it indoors if you like. Also, there's a USB port on the end of the handle, so you can charge a phone/GPS/watch (you just need to figure out how to secure whatever device you are charging). The cart is heavier than a manual push cart, but not dramatically so, and you can push it manually (turn-off the power to reduce rolling resistance for manual mode). When storing or transporting folded-up, I leave the big wheels on, but they are easy to take on and off.The freedom and ease you get by simply walking the course instead of pushing a cart around the whole time is transformational. It's especially nice for a really hot day or a hilly course in that by the end of 18 holes you don't feel tired at all, and thus this thing can save you strokes. Besides, it's fun driving this thing around and easier than expected. There are various robot carts on the market from which to choose, and I shopped around online as well as observed and examined some first-hand before choosing this one. My opinion is this is an elegant, best-value electric cart.

Already replacing bearings and front wheel
I’ve used my nova caddy XR for a little over a year and I’m already having to replace the front wheel and bearings. Also, The remote control sometimes has a long delay and then when it finally responds the cart turns too far in the directions I’ve made the selection for so it’s constantly turning back and forth. I would not buy this cart again

Good product
I ordered on Sunday. NovaCaddy was shipped on Monday. I received on Friday in Hawaii. I used on Friday afternoon. Thank you for quick delivery. I played 4 rounds of golf at my home course. NovaCaddy is very solid and compact. It fit comfortably in my Mercedes E class trunk. It is easy to use. Lithium battery is very light and easy to carry. I can concentrate in playing golf from now on.

Too light but unstable
The Nova Caddy is a good electric golf cart except it needs a few things. It's probably one of the lightest. However it has a few issues, which once addressed, would be a good buy then:1-A YouTube video to educate the buyer on how to drive it especially in hilly terrains.2-lack of accessories causes the user to add things in the wrong location which causes imbalance.3-Accessories needed such as seat and a FLEXIBLE drink holder that can handle a larger drink4-downhill brakes are important5-the rubber tires/treads separate easily from the metal wheels and that adds to the imbalance issue.

Great cart
Very happy with this cart. Small and light enough to easily fit in my Fusion. Folds quickly. Easy to control, but need to be careful on side hills. Tips on sidehills, but I should always hold the cart (as I did with my manual push cart). when in that situation. Recharges quickly. I like the scorecard holder, which also holds 2 balls, a pitch mark tool, a couple of tees and markers. All in all I am very satisfied. Worth the investment. Aside from function, have received many comments on how it looks. Remote works well, no problems at 50-60 yards. Wish it had a brake, but no real problem. My club is hilly, and the caddy has no problems up and down. Takes adjustment to keep it close to help on those sidehills.

Works as advertised and better
After 10 rounds on a very hilly golf course, I'm absolutely pleased with My NovaCaddy. I easily fit the folded NovaCaddy in the trunk of my Nissan Maxima sedan along with my clubs. It takes less than two minutes to unfold, and attach the battery and the golf bag. The remote control works very well with multiple speeds both forward and back, plus left and right turning. I usually keep it within 20 yards of me, but just to see, I tried it from 40 yards away and it responded just as well as if it was right next to me. We have some very steep uphill and downhill cart paths on our course and the many different speeds via the conveniently located finger dial really help keep it under control going down the hills. On the steeper uphill cart path climbs, I actually let the NovaCaddy give me a little "pull" assist. The battery easily lasts the full 18 holes (and over 6 miles up and down the hills of my home course). I've not tried any more than 18 on a single charge. Charging it is super easy with the included charger. Not of real importance to me, but I'll mention anyway that several of the golfers at my course have noted how great it looks. I only gave 4 stars on weight, but it is still easy for this scrawny 65 year old to lift up and get into the far reaches of my car's trunk.

Poor or non existent customer support. Request for service help go unanswered it’s like they gone
I used the cart multiple times per week for months and it worked great. Then a couple weeks ago it stopped working and I can’t get anyone from customer support to respond to me either by email or even answering the phone.

Works as advertised!
Has worked as advertised. Easy to control, responsive to the remote. The only issue is when it goes up a steep incline it has a tendency to tip over backwards. Other than that, really pleased with the purchase. Wonder if they have a plan to add a cell phone holder maybe in lieu of a scorecard holder.
