Easy install, great fan for the price.
I'm somewhat handy, but was nervous to install my first ceiling fan. It took me a couple of hours and I spent a lot of that trying to figure out how to take my old fan down. This fan is quiet and there is good air output. The light is bright , but not annoying. My old fan rocked back and forth and was noisy. This is sturdy and flush with the ceiling. I'm happy I bought this fan and love that it wasn't a huge pain to install.

Very quiet fan
The fan is great. Extremely quiet. My few complaints are that normally the 1st setting is Mor like a “gentle breeze.” Not with this fan. 1st setting is more like the 3rd setting in my other fans. Also there is a delay when pressing the buttons. Last complaint is having to push the power button and then the setting fan to start the fan. A bit redundant in my opinion. Otherwise, it looks great and I can’t stress enough how quiet it is.

Quiet
Very nice fan. Straightforward to install if you have familiarity with hand tools. The metal plate with the LEDs is a bit difficult because you have to line up the 3 holes to insert the small screws. Otherwise it's pretty easy. The remote receiver has to nest inside the case when you hang it and wires get in the way. But it does work. Keep in mind this is surface mount so there's no ball on the top for the fan to hang and let gravity make sure it's level. You just have to make sure that the base is level. Mine wasn't so I had to shim it. The advantage to a surface mount is it's held firmly in place and can't wobble. But you will need a small bubble level unless your box in the ceiling is level. A lot of times they aren't. But all in all I'm now a fan of surface mount, no pun intended. This one does the job nicely and my grandson loves the remote and all the changes he can make to the light brightness and color. You can't operate this fan without the remote. But it looks clean and modern with no pull strings hanging. I love this fan!

Quiet, good light, good airflow
Overall, these seem to be good units. I got two of them for use in a large room. The fans are very quiet on speeds 1-4. Speeds 5-6 are much more audible, but still not uncomfortably loud and they are also unlikely to be necessary in most cases. The top speeds are really fast. Overall these fans work well and I'd buy it again if I needed another one. No clue as to longevity yet, but I'm hopeful.Pros- Simple installation. Tedious (all fans are tedious in my experience), but pretty easy- Item isn't too heavy- Reasonably low-profile, so they don't make the room feel small/low. I have 7.5' ceilings where I installed them, and they work well and don't feel oppressive or like they lower the ceiling too much. Much of this is courtesy of the flat LED light kit that doesn't protrude down an extra 8"-10"- Neither of mine required any balancing- Light is bright, fades up and down nicely, color temperature is selectable- Fan works well and is quiet- Isn't ugly- Remote control- Reversible for winter use- Has a "memory" function so the state restores to whatever it was when power is returned (switch or after a power failure) - no unexpected "why is this light on" stuff, and so is a good choice for a bedroom.- Item was packaged well and all parts easily survived the rough treatment they got in transportCons- The remote antenna attached to the transformer is easy to bury in the works during installation, which will make operation finnicky. I had to pull one of my units down and adjust the antenna to get reliable remote operation- The installation manual calls for attaching the transformer to the power side first, and the fan side second. This makes installation much more difficult. I wired in the power lead first, attached the transformer to the fan side (two connectors) before getting on the ladder and *then* connected the single power lead. This simplifies things greatly when you're up on a ladder holding a 10-pound steel can over your head.- It isn't pretty. The plastic shade is the part of this that looks the cheapest. It isn't ugly by any means and I installed two of them and would install more if needed, it's just sort of aesthetically "meh."

Quiet operation and user friendly
Fan works great. Instructions are a little vague but can be understood.
