I am not new to henna. I have been using it for 16 years.This henna is basically dust. I tried EVERYTHING to get it to dye-release. I mixed it with pure lemon juice; I tried with distilled water; I tried with amla powder; I tried with all + a few drops of tee tree oil: The best I could get is a very faint yellow.Waste of money. I would even say it's not henna. It may be what the powder that results from sweeping the floor of some manufacturing facility.

This henna powder is really great quality! I am a professional henna artist and love using this henna powder!

Made two separate batches for mehndi, even the first batch that was too watery/thin had a nice stain but the second batch was perfect!

The paste texture, smell and the results are just like what we got back home in India when we were little kids! This is about as Rajasthani mehendi as it can get. Go for it!
