This is an excellent well made device for chopping. The main part is steel not plastic so I do not worry about pressing down too hard. The blades are insanely sharp so you should be very careful. The plastic bucket that catches food is durable. Comes with several blade sizes that make it easy to complete whichever task you need. This is such a great time saving device in the kitchen. Cleaning the blades are not easy but the rest of the device is simple to clean.

I could not be more happier with my veggie chopper. It works well because the blades are sharp. It makes chopping so much easier and it cleans up quickly.

A stable tool for food preparation.

After using many of those plastic ones over the years, and having them all break (because they are cheap plastic), finally one with great promise. We like finely cubed middle eastern style vegetable salads. And this one is the first one I can say yes to. You do have to prep if you want fine cubes instead of big chunks. But if you are making a large salad for 6-8 people, this really saves time. The above picture is not really fine, more like medium, but I was to impatient to wait. And, it does work for tomatoes, at least for me. I used firm cherry tomatoes. I am sure I can use firm meaty regular tomatoes too. I did not this buy for the mandolin, and I have not tried it. One tiny weeny little thing, right out of the box - the legs on the chopper were all loose. I tightened them. They came loose again after I finished chopping. I will ask my husband to use some of his elbow grease when.he gets home. That should do it. This is the longest and most enthusiastic review I have ever written in my 68 years, so that is telling you something. If I find any problems, or if any issues come up, I will update. I expect to get a ton of use out of this, and it will.have a permanent home on my counter next to the kitchen aid. (This is when my kids say "you're over sharing mom".)

Good product. Easy to use and not that hard to clean. Easy to change blades.

This thing is extremely well built. The pictures do not do it justice. The blades will wear out many times before the rest of it does. It is beefy. And heavy from all the beautiful shiny stainless steel. And it looks like the mandolin part of it is actually going to be useful, which means I can get rid of my old mandolin. I love that you can remove the container from the bottom without opening the whole thing up. You could probably just use your own container if you'd like. Misan en place with your own containers. Different attachments snap very securely into place. The plastic attaching pieces are strong and do not appear that they're going to snap off easily. I'm now going to look to see if there's replacement attachments available, because I'll probably just buy another set of attachments for when these were out. We use ours all the time. The build quality on this is well worth the added cost. I am very confident I will never buy another one as long as I can get replacement blades/attachments.

I've burned through a few of these choppers but this one takes the cake. Metal construction, powerful downward chop - no plastic involved to eliminate breakage. Wife got this for my birthday and I use it all the time. I like that it is versatile and has a number of optional blades for slicking a variety of veggies. Compact and easy to use.
