Samsung U640 Convoy Holster With swivel belt clip - Retail

The first time I bought this holster I had it two days and broke it. I bought two more. I loved the holster and still do. I'm just more careful now. You can break it by clipping it to your belt on your left side, sitting in your vehicle, then twisting left to get out. The spring and clamp mechanism can break, but not without reckless effort.Having said that, I have not seen a holster that is otherwise tougher or more convenient than this one. It fits tightly and yet the phone will literally pop out of the holster when you're wearing it and you push the release lever. If you don't hit the release lever, your phone is not going to leave this holster. It feels locked in. The clamp mechanism has a 180-degree range, so you can wear it upside up or with the top of the phone facing either left or right.If you want to take a picture or video while your phone is in this holster, you can't. The release lever is in the way, but it's unlikely that you'd attempt to take a picture or video with this holster on the phone anyway. If you're wearing the holster, just pop the phone out, wipe your fingerprints off the lens, and go for it.

There's not a whole lot to say about a phone holster. We're motorcyclists and it's just not practical to stuff a phone into our pockets. A strong holster or clip is a necessity.I bought this holster when the OEM broke - not from use or wear, just a phone dropped in exactly the wrong way. A Web search turned up a variety of replacements and this one won for price. It's exactly like the OEM clip except for one apparent improvement. When holstered, the phone's external display is now exposed so you can glace at it without fumbling it from the clip.Okay, so holsters are out of style these days and a little geeky. Personally, I care more about the practicality. This holster is a winner. Strong material, securely holds your phone, clips positively to your clothing, exposes the external display so it's useful. I've got no doubt it'll last, barring unfortunate drops.

This holster is not a good fit for my Samsung phone even though the ads said it was. It was delivered quickly. I could see that the phone put a strain on the holster the first time I used it. The other problem was that it only holds the phone with the face out so you should purchase a protective clear film for the face for protection against scratches. I only used it a few days before one of the plastic tabs that supports the bottom broke off. Also, the clip is not spring loaded. You have to squeeze the clip and the face of the phone with a lot of pressure get it to open.

This clip fits the Convoy phone perfectly. It's very sturdy and feels like it'll last a long time. The only issue I've found is that you have to take the phone out of the clip to take pictures, since the upper tab (visible in the photo) blocks the camera lens. I only take a picture with my phone maybe once a month, so it's not an issue. Overall, I like this clip.

This is exactly what I wanted but it broke. Well I bought it again because accidents happen, right? Well this one broke also. The design is great but durability leaves a lot to be desired. This was the second one to break in less than 6 months.

Holster is just as good as the ones sold at the Verizon Store. Not very durable though. My dad broke his after 5 months of use. However, he is kind of rough on things.

The product doesn't fit the phone. Its cheap, you get what you pay for. Customer Service sucks. DO NOT ORDER THIS PHONE HOLSTER.Shipping price was included in the in the $5.25 price. When I tried to return the holster they sent the link for the shipping label. They wanted me to pay for the shipping cost to ship it back. I already paid for the shipping when it was sent to me. I AM NOT PAYING TWICE. If I could paste the emails here I would. I will NOT be ordering anything else from them!

This is the second one of these that I've purchased. The first on lasted about 2 months. I climbed into a the car with the phone on the outside hip & when I sat down it caught on the door jamb & snapped off(I'm not expecting it to withstand 200 lbs of force) The new one has lasted approximately 2 months - so far so good!
