I felt it would be unfair not to write a review for this recent buy from Amazon and also for this type of product any help for someone who is looking to buy security cameras for their home or business I think it’s appreciated. So firstly with regards to delivery time and condition of the package on arrival I would give top marks for both. Arrived super quick as I ordered it around 8 in the evening time and it was handed to me by the driver by 12:30pm the next day. I don’t know how they do it tbh so yeah pretty impressed with that. As for the packaging again spot on and it was like I’d collected it from the store. Both cameras came in individual boxes that were in a cardboard sleeve holding the two boxes together which you just slid out of the sleeve. Inside the camera was packed neatly and well protected with everything else tucked in its own place. Setting up was very straightforward you just need to download the app that runs with the camera and then set up an account with the app. You can have a free account but if like myself want to have all of the cameras features then you have to pay for a subscription. One of those features is the ability to talk to someone who has come into view, so for example I have one of the cameras setup on my front porch and sees who comes up my pathway to my front door. So if the Amazon delivery person comes up my path with my next delivery and I’m not in I will get a alert on my phone telling me that someone is at my front door and just like the Ring doorbell I’m able to speak with them and ask them to pop next door to my neighbours house and leave the package there for me. There’s plenty of other features that come with the paid service that I liked but it’s not a necessity to have if all you want is the basic functionality which I will say is pretty good too. The cameras quality, brightness and sensitivity of the pictures captured is very good both in colour and black and white. You can have a colour picture in the night time either all the time or just when it’s activated by movement. I won’t go into detail about all of the features but everything that it says it does are done with great effect and it’s more than adequate for use at home. As for value for money I think they are brilliant for the price. I would have paid that price for one of them so to get two for that price it’s a real bargain in my opinion.

Good cameras I have 4 two fixed and the two with PTZ but like most products what they say about no monthly costs is a a pile of bull as the EZVIZ app I use on an older laptop just to use as my in house monitor but it’s always gets an add stopping the live view to tell me to purchase something called VIP to have continuous live access

I've been considering getting CCTV for a while due to security issues in our area. I was going to go all out and get a DVR unit but these are pretty expensive. This unit is a great price and we bought the two pack. The instructions aren't the best (standard translated from another language by a non native speaker) but putting 2+2 together, they're easy enough to work out. Mounting is simple. I've mounted one on the front of our garage. You do need a good sized drill bit though. The power cable from the actual unit is combined power and ethernet. The ethernet connector is approx 1.5cm in diameter; the power connector is approx 0.5cm. So if mounting outside, you'll need a 1.5cm drill bit so the ethernet piece can be placed through the wall. You'll then need something to plug up the gap - I used a small piece of pipe lagging. Tip: the camera detaches from the mount. The instructions don't tell you this but it makes installation far easier separating them for installation. These cameras are WiFi enabled and take micro SD cards. I only had a 1gb card available but this captures snapshots every 1 minute for around 6hrs of footage in 1080p (maybe more). The app is okay... Initially, I had a problem connecting to the camera from my phone (for the setup) but after a few goes it worked. Tip: if you have a VPN, temporarily turn it off for the setup. Afterwards it's okay though.. The picture and video quality are great. Easily sufficient for "standard" security purposes. Overall, great value and recommended.

Great camera. Better than the predecessor. Picture clarity is amazing!!! Highly recommended. Night colour vision is excellent!!!

Work good and the quality is perfect.

Had this installed but had few issues with it and I thought it was just me not using the app correctly, but the camera kept switching off and not reconnecting as if power had been cut, contacted EZVIZ support and tried everything they suggested and now they are not replying to my messages, my advice, spend a few extra pounds and get a well known brand, returned this now to purchase something better.

Great cameras and price. Easy setup and great quality images. Useful human detection for playback.

Ho acquistato questo set di telecamere e ne sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto. L’installazione è risultata molto semplice: basta collegarle, aggiungerle all’app e sono subito pronte. La qualità dell’immagine è ottima, sia di giorno che di notte, e la visione notturna a colori fa davvero la differenza rispetto ad altri modelli che ho provato. Il movimento a 360° permette di coprire tutta l’area senza punti ciechi, e il rilevamento delle persone è abbastanza preciso, evitando molte notifiche inutili. L’app è intuitiva e invia avvisi immediati in caso di movimento, così so sempre cosa succede fuori casa. Per il prezzo a cui le ho prese, penso siano un prodotto molto valido: affidabili, facili da usare e con funzioni complete. Le consiglio senza dubbio.
